Solsidan is a Swedish television comedy series that premiered on 29 January 2010 on TV4. The series is named after a small part of Saltsjöbaden called Solsidan. It revolves around Alex and Anna who are expecting their first child and have just moved to Alex's childhood home in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm County. Alex tries to get Anna to enjoy herself, and at the same time spend time with his childhood friend Fredde. Ten episodes were scheduled to air in the first season. A second ten-episode season premiered 16 January 2011.
A dead body is found and police detective Mårten Späck draws the conclusion that a serial suicide killer is at large. Späck with his colleagues Grünvald Karlsson and Irene Snusk suspect a gang who distributes pirated DVD's of 'bottom-of-the-barrel' Swedish movies.
Hem till Midgård is a Swedish sit-com which ran on TV4 in Sweden during 2003. It is currently being re-run on TV4 Komedi. The name is a pun of the classic Swedish TV series Hem till byn as well as Emmerdale which is known as Hem till gården in Sweden. The series was created and written by Per Simonsson, Fredde Granberg, Johan Petersson and Stefan Roos. The later three also starred in the show. In total 2 seasons of 12 episodes each were produced before the show was canceled.
This mockumentary tells the story of actual Swedish/Finish rap-star Markoolio. By a not too serious tv-reporter, we are told that 'Markoolio' is an ancient Finish expression which means "He who is rapping" and two models reveal the true story of Markoolio's embarrassing debut performance in bed.
