Wood is not only the foundation of the wood industry, on which the well-being of the village depends, but it also has a higher significance. It is a place where mysterious and sacred powers hide. In this mystical environment, we follow the story of the main protagonist Crt, who left his native mountain village as a child and returned after many years of absence as a successful architect to sell the forest he inherited from his late father. On his return, the main character encounters unusual events, and the line between reality and imagination is increasingly blurred. With the new findings, it faces a key dilemma, namely whether to sell the forest or not.

For almost 30 years, bookseller Jordan has lived and worked in a neighborhood in Berlin that has become a social hotbed. As Jordan witnesses a teenager brutally beating up an older man, he intervenes and files a complaint - with unimaginable consequences ... Director Dror Zahavi ("Everything for my father", "My life - Marcel Reich-Ranicki") succeeded after a screenplay by Jürgen Werner ("Tatort - With a steady hand", "Schimanski - layer in the pit", also with Götz George) an atmospherically tightly staged and outstandingly played portrait of a so-called problem district. Here nothing is glossed over, but instead the reality shown and the powerlessness of our judicial system mercilessly layed bare. A highlight of 2010!

For the End of Time is a film about the mind… a film about the body and our inability to merge these two entities which are shaping a form of civilization known under the term “human”. A human is not a being unto itself. A human is a construct… a civilization-related coding of a certain precise time and place. A human is not a uniform creature. A human is a split between many things… but the worst is the split carried inside… that between the mind and the body… How can we feel others, if the only universe that an individual truly lives in and feels is his or her own universe? How can you feel for the other… How can the other feel for you? Only as much as the pain of the other resembles yours – thus as a reminiscence of one’s own pain. This is the only way. For the End of Time is a film on a quest… for the eternal longing “to find the real thing.

The Eastern house is a video that reread some key names and some keysequences from the film history: Antonioni (Blow-up), Coppola (Apocalypsenow), Don Siegel. As well it re-articulates the body and conceptual happenings performed in the Eastern European context. The video is a homageto Nesa Paripovic happenings and body actions from the 1970s in Belgrade. The text is a political intervention in the field of theory regarding the question of global capitalism and the radical position of technology in the cyberworld with a clear reference to a cyberfeminst attitude and positioning. In this respect the question of sex and empathy in the cyberworld is raised as well as the ethical and political questioning of cloning and hybrid identities. As one of the key moment in the video is the re-reading of the Bush’s USA war against Iraq, 2003.
