Alfredo è un rozzo riparatore di motociclette romano amico del Conte Max, uno spianato gentiluomo ed ex-gaudente. Quest'ultimo invita Alfredo nella sua residenza a Campo dei Fiori e gli insegna il galateo, il francese e come si gioca a poker. Le risate cominceranno quando Alfredo conosce ed insegue a Parigi la bellissima fotomodella Isabella Matignon.

La storia si divide in tre episodi, con un'auto a noleggio a fare da filo conduttore:

3 episodes set in Monte Carlo. In the first one a priest is compelled to become the lover of a princess. In the second, a con woman tries to cheat an insurance man. In the third, a man has to deal with his wife's suicidal attempts.

Oscar dreams of becoming an actor or a stuntman. To contact a manufacturer he stages an accident and consequently injures a young actress, then tries to limit the damage by taking the girl to his home.

While keeping an eye on his small time crook brother in law, Inspector Nico Giraldi gets involved in a murder case set in the world of Formula One racing. Giraldi is suspended for trying to cover up for his brother in law and becomes afraid his wife and son may be targeted next. Therefore he calls in the help of his childhood friend and chief informant, Venticello.
