Chandu (Nagarjuna) is a very selfish, self made and cut throat businessman in New York who runs a successful Event Organizing Agency and is aided by his uncle Sundar (M. S. Narayana), friends Bharath (Bharath Reddy) and Maya (Meera Chopra). Chandu never believes in relationships and family bonding citing them as a mess to discard. He is always involved in romantic activities with many girls sans commitment. Maya loves Chandu but as fate would have it, She marries Kamaraju (Brahmanandam), an aged yet wealthy doctor to rob his wealth. On the advice of Chandu, she applies for divorce and gets the money from him.
Pachai Theevu, ruled by a mighty king (Narasimha Raju). His son and prince Jagathalapradhapan (Raja) is a valourous youth who sets out on a mission to capture pirates in the sea. He lands at Sangu Theevu, where the head of the sea pirates Alai Kallan lives. Jagathalapradhapan comes across Mohini (Namitha), who belong to the local fishermen community in the island. Romance blossom between them. Jagathalapradhapan manages to nab Alai Kallan and decides to return to his country. He promises Mohini that he would bring his parents to arrange for their wedding. However the King and his wife Mangayarkarasi (Yuvarani) arranges for their son's marriage with a princess Azhagu Nachiyar (Nila). Jagathalapradhapan tries hard to convince his parents that he would marry only Mohini. To put an end to the problem, the king and his wife hatch a conspiracy and bump off Mohini.
Young Jeeva is the grandson of Seema of Theni. When she was five years old, she kills five persons and goes to jail. She comes out of prison turning nastier than before. She is now a hard-core 'dada' and she is feared as well as revered by people in her place, Theni, where she is engaged in all activities which the law forbids. The local police throw up their hands. A police officer, also named Jeeva (Lal), comes down heavily on Seema with all his might and cunningness and finally burns her alive. Meanwhile, a rowdy, also named Jeeva, becomes a thorn in the flesh of police officer Jeeva and he is after his daughter Vedika, who loves Seema's grandson, a tough guy in the college. While Vedika wants to keep the rowdy off her with the help of Seema's grandson, he wants to take revenge on her father for killing his grandmother. How he fulfils his task is the crux of the movie.

Raju produces and directs this film while debutant, Kamalakar composed music for the project. It is a remake of Kannada language film, Mungaru Male. The film was dubbed and released in Tamil as Gnabagangal Thaalattum.
Marudhamalai (Arjun), a police constable, goes to work in the village of Nachiapuram after passing his police exams and getting a merit. Here, he meets 'Encounter' Ekambaram played by Vadivel who is his senior officer. He is asked to do all sorts of work for him and one day, Marudhamalai loses a convict on the way to the court due to Ekambaran's soft heart. He then is to clean the floors of the inspector's house and there, he falls in love with Nila. Then, later in the market, after Ekambaram is humiliated by a beggar, Marudhamalai sees Maasi, the 'boss' of the city, killing a person who stood for a candidate in the elections. Then the election commissioner comes to the place and he discovers that elections have not been held for 16 years in the city due to Maasi's opposition.
Leelatharan, Lee to his friends, hangs out with a bunch of merry youths who do practically any work and play football in other times. It is a strong-willed and thick-tied group. Chellama, a worker in a facility for the mentally-challenged, is also kind of a groupie. Life is all merry and mirth till she espies Lee & co, attempting an assassination of sorts on a Minister. The bid fails, but Chellama is shocked and so are we. Why would this bunch want to take a crack at the murky world of politics and cricket.
Bangaram(pawan kalyan) is a reporter at a news channel. He dreams of getting into an international news channel of BBC. To fulfill his own dream he ends up at Peddi Reddy (Mukesh Rishi) who is a factionist. He needs Peddi's signature to get his dream fulfilled but in the meanwhile he gets entangled with Peddi"s daughter Sandhya(Meera chopra)and Vindhya(Sanusha). Later Bhooma Reddy(Ashutosh Rana) wins over Peddi's heart and is able to convince him to marry Sandhya to him. But Sandhya has already got her own love story with Vinay(Raja).
Jambhavan movie is about Velan (Prashanth) who is a responsible son of a village landlord (Vijayakumar). Adored by the villagers for his good deeds, Prashanth gets a shock when Vijayakumar informs that he is his foster son.A shocked Velan sets out on a mission to know about his past. He reaches Chennai and comes to know that his family members were killed by a dreaded gangster Deva (Vijayan). He had then vowed to kill him and his gang. In the name of Jambhavan, he starts to kill rowdies in the society.Suffering an injury in his head, Velan loses memory and is later adopted by Vijayakumar. He comes to know that his job was just half-done. The rest is how he puts an end to Fefsi Vijayan and his men coming to Chennai.
