Unforgiven (2008) was a PPV, which took place on September 7, 2008 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The RAW main event was a Steel Cage match featuring WWE Champion Triple H defending against Randy Ortonfor the title. The Great American Bash (2008) was the fifth annual Great American Bash PPV. The voting for the event started on October 9, 2007, and ended during the event.

Armageddon (2006) was a PPV presented by Activision's Call of Duty 3, which took place on December 17, 2006 at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. The event starred wrestlers from the SmackDown! brand. The main event was a tag team match, in which the team of Batista and John Cena took on the team of King Booker and Finlay. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard, including The Undertaker versus Mr. Kennedy, in a match where the objective was to place an opponent in a hearse located on the entrance stage and drive them out of the arena and an Inferno match featuring wrestlers attempting to set the opponent on fire with flames surrounding the ring featuring Kane vs. MVP.

Battle of the Network Reality Stars is a television series that aired on the Bravo channel in the US in August and September 2005. Based on the popular 1970s and 1980s television competition Battle of the Network Stars, the show consisted of thirty-three competitors from several different reality television shows. Some of the better known contestants include Adam Mesh, from the Average Joe TV series, Richard Hatch, Survivor winner, Sue Hawk, the Survivor player who gave the infamous "snakes and rats" speech, Ryan Starr and Nikki McKibbin of American Idol fame, Evan Marriott, of Joe Millionaire fame, and Will Kirby, winner of Big Brother season 2. Chip and Kim McAllister, winners of The Amazing Race 5, also participated. Veteran NBC sportscaster Mike Adamle hosted the show and featured reality reporters Trishelle Cannatella, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, and Bob Guiney.
