Three days before Christmas and grumpy old Cyrus Grape forbids children to play and skate on the ice over the local cranberry bog near his home. Young Maggie, along with her grandmother and their friend Mr. Whiskers, work together to save Christmas Day for the children by reclaiming their favorite ice skating spot and discovering the land's rightful owner. When Mr. Whiskers learns his sister is coming to visit, it's a scramble to get his house in order and Maggie and her grandmother pitch in to help clean the old house. While working, they uncover a hidden box that holds a surprise for everyone... Maggie and her grandmother make delicious cookies to serve at their Christmas feast.

Plenty of drama in this one, and as the series has been wont to do from the beginning, it shows adults as sometimes being less than perfect.

The show follows the adventures of the classic Looney Tunes character, Taz in the fictional land of Tazmania. Similar to other Warner Brothers cartoons of its time, such as Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures, Taz-Mania frequently broke the fourth wall, and often made jokes showing that Taz could actually speak perfectly normal when he wanted to. The intro indicates that, in this rendering of Tasmania, "the sky's always yellow, rain or shine". The title song is performed by Jess Harnell and Jim Cummings.

Raising Miranda is the story of Donald Marshack, a Racine, Wisconsin contractor who suddenly found himself a single parent when his wife Bonnie had abandoned him and their 15 year old daughter, Miranda, in order to go and "find herself". Despite this rather grim premise, the show was billed as a situation comedy, the humor being derived from undomestic Donald now being forced to serve as both father and mother to a teenage girl. Bryan Cranston played Donald's brother-in-law, Russell. Audiences apparently found the premise a little too grim and the program lasted only two months.

Set in the city of Glasgow, the series centred around teenager Maggie McKinley and the problems of adolescence as she aspired to further education, a career and an independent life whilst her parents expected her to take a secure job, get married and "settle down". Much of the action also centred around Maggie staying with her feisty octogenarian grandmother in Inverness-shire: the latter frequently acted as an important confidante to her granddaughter. The two series followed Maggie's progress, ending as she faces a crossroads in her life - whether to go to university or work for the family business. The theme music was by pop star B. A.
