The Fall. Two school kids on the bridge are about to admit something very important. On the same day, the avalanche of events unfolded between men, by no means are randomly directed to each other. It will result in one stopping of the elevator, one wheelchair, one night tram, one suicide thread, PTSP, wild sex, difference between the years, long silence and driving in the unknown, standing in the rain, a brutal confession, a video from the past, the deception of the deaf refugee, the traces of the Second World War and a gentle kiss.
She watches him through the window as he loads the final pieces of furniture into the truck. They are counting down the last hours in their home. Their seven-month-old baby is asleep, unaware of the trouble brewing. They will either vacate the apartment peacefully, or they will be forcefully evicted. Their home, her father's legacy, used to be their safe haven, their family nest. Now, corrupt courts, greedy bankers, and unscrupulous real estate investors have turned it into a site of their worst nightmares. As tension rise, they struggle to preserve their relationship. In the morning, as police knocks on their door, their future seems uncertain, but their options are very clear: either accept injustice or show resistance.
A hitman arrives in Zagreb to perform a task. In the mosaic structure and collision of surreal and real situations, the trajectory of the main character will intertwine with several characters. His past and inattention cause many misunderstandings that lead to tragic consequences.
A sequel to omnibus "Zagreb Stories" tells about love and families in present-day Zagreb.
