Vinodhan is an upcoming Tamil drama film directed by Victor Jayaraj and produced by Prabhu Deva. The film features Varun, Vedhika and Salony Luthra in the leading roles, while Madhan Karky has written the dialogues for the film. Ajay with the help of Vidya even gets street children obtain sponsorship for their education. But things take a turn when Vidya expresses her love to Ajay. He quietly walks off the place and decides to leave Chennai. But a rude accident to Vidya puts the responsibility on Ajay's shoulders to get her back to health. He takes her to USA for a surgery. Meanwhile a flashback reveals that Ajay was a successful doctor in the United States and who led a happy life.
Srinivasan (Mouli) is an owner of Ad Agency which is going on loss. To make his company stand up he expects a great project from big company Johnson and Johnson. During a meeting for project discussion Arjun (Ajmal Ameer) the art executive and a pet of Srinivasan, disappoints the clients with his mischief behaviour. To convince the clients who are reluctant to give the project to them, Srinivasan produces the ad at his own risk with his own money, on the agreement that the project will be accepted if done everything perfectly.
Sathyanathan is a typical middle class man who has just retired. He wants to buy a plot of land in the city and move in with his wife and children - Uppilinathan(Karthik Kumar), Vishwanathan and Sindhu. But his son Uppilinathan - who is a software engineer - has no interest in the house and is keen to leave India for New York, where he has obtained a job.
