Moments before a father's death, all of his family memories are transferred to his son through a dream, from the first ancestor, an Englishman living at the end of the 18th century, to his Brazilian heirs, the protagonists of this story.

A man who lost his taste and his blind wife; an almost deaf girl and her consumerist stepmother; an adult movie actor in love and his completely passionate woman; a sign language teacher and his dilemmas with dumb students. Characters full of love and full of inabilities to cope with their emotional side.

The main actor believes that true success is the attaining WHAT money can't buy and encourages people to follow their dreams. He forms a huge following which becomes cult like following. Officials start feeling threatened and conspire to kill him.

Othniel Badaró (Murilo Rosa) is a metallurgist who, after working in a factory for 20 years, is fired. The situation is further complicated because Camila (Gabriela Flores), his wife is pregnant. Disgusted, Othniel decides to cut his own arm and signs his resignation with his own blood. From then it becomes next to Cotton reels (Leandro Firmino da Hora), a film student who lives in the slum and maintains a pirate TV channel. It gets even worse when Othniel have your car stolen.
