The gunslinger Papaco wanders the West dragging his coffin containing precious goods to trade with a group of bandits in the city of Santa Cruz das Almas. He meets on his way a man named Pancho Favela. Pancho challenges him, but Papaco easily wins, raping him soon after. On the way, after dueling and killing his four husbands, Papaco meets Linda, who asks to accompany him. Arriving in town, several gangs linked to local crime bosses Jane and Sapato attempt to steal the goods in the coffin. After being taken in at the city's brothel by the mortician, Papaco is surrendered by the dwarf Big Boy, but finally manages to negotiate the goods.
