Stanley's family is cursed with bad luck. Unfairly sentenced to months of detention at Camp Green Lake, he and his campmates are forced by the warden to dig holes in order to build character. An asylum in West Virginia and the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area are the backdrop to this dark psychological thriller, which unravels a complex chain of events between action, intrigue and religion: a detective, a sheriff and a psychologist must solve a series. of murders parallel to biblicalism before a symbol of them becomes the next sacrificial victim.
