“[REC]” is the horror film that marked a before and after in Spanish cinematography with its premiere in 2007. The new bet by the Filmax producer, Julio Fernández, redefined the genre in our country with an innovative proposal directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza. Now, 15 years later, the main protagonists analyze the keys to the film, its origin and gestation, the success of critics and audiences, its passage through the big festivals and the impact of a cinematographic phenomenon that gave way to an unprecedented franchise until that time.

Mario, an exemplary man, lives in a village on the Galician coast. In the old people’s home, where he works as a nurse, everyone appreciates him. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies, this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment, the future '[REC] 4 Apocalypse.'
