Desperately building against the inevitability of time, a restless young woman is awaiting another upcoming loss. But maybe more important things never seem to be told. Soon after the director moves into her 22nd house, she gets a phone call that her Grandma, who lives far away, is in a critical condition. Elsewhere, a huge apartment made of sand is being constructed as the tide rolls in, while she belatedly tries to build a relationship with her Gran. Dokgo Ma-te is the most beautiful man in the world. He is also an ambitious man and wants to make a lot money using his beautiful appearance. When he meets Hong Yoo-ra, the ex-daughter-in-law of a rich family, she recognises his ambitions and becomes his mentor. But when the poor, but adorable Kim Bo-tong surfaces with a huge crush on Ma-te, everything changes.
Sun-joo is an ordinary office worker at a bank who is preparing for her upcoming wedding with Ji-hoon, an employee at a publishing company. However, Ji-hoon, who has recently become the liaison to popular female author So-ra, does not attempt to show an enthusiastic interest in married life. One day, Ji-hoon causes a traffic accident, and rushing to the hospital, Sun-joo comes face-to-face with So-ra. In actuality, Sun-joo and So-ra were classmates in school. Sun-joo befriends So-ra, with whom she has had no contact until now, suspecting that Ji-hoon's indifference to getting married might somehow be connected to her. This will reawaken a memory of the tragic accident that happened to their mutual friend.....
