The film is about two childhood friends Abhi and Tuli (played by Indraneil Sengupta and Koel Mullick) and begins on a very promising note. They are the ‘bestest of friends’, closer than anyone can hope to be, but Abhi does fall in love with Tuli over a period of time which she doesn’t realise and confesses his feelings to her when she comes to town for the pujas after 3 long years. However for her , Abhi can only be her closest friend and confidante who is more than a soul mate to her but can’t be her boyfriend as she just can’t think of him in that way.

On one side you still have more than half of its population living below the poverty line, combating illiteracy, while on the other side, you have a sizeable urban population that is connected by mobile phones and computers. It is in this world that we start our story, in which a single commodity - a laptop, connects so many lives and so many stories, as it changes hands and changes lives.
Cocooned in the hilly wrap of Kalimpong, divorcee schoolteacher Teesta (Debasree Roy) feels she can't communicate with people any more. She speaks to the mountains instead, and even when a much younger man (Badshah Moitra) tries to ignite her passion, she remains aloof. Her second marriage is on the rocks.
The film portrays the disreputable life of Srikanta and his encounters with various women. After facing many failures in love he becomes a monk.
