Chennaiyil Oru Naal is Tamil thriller film written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay and directed by Shahid Khader. On September 16, superstar Gautham Krishna (Prakash Raj) gets ready for the release of his new film. On the same day, Traffic Constable Satyamoorthy (Cheran) joins back on duty, after having been suspended from service for taking bribes. The day is special for Dr. Robin (Prasanna) who is celebrating his first wedding anniversary. Karthik Vishwanathan (Sachin), an aspiring television journalist, starts his first job with an interview with Gautham Krishna the very same day. On the same day, at a crowded traffic junction in Chennai, Karthik, who was set to interview Gautham Krishna, and Ajmal (Mitun), traveling in a bike are hit by a speeding car at the signal, and Karthik is rushed to Global Hospital. Also at the junction, in another car, was the surgeon Dr. Robin. Karthik goes into coma and is declared brain dead although he is kept alive using ventilator.
Raghu Viswanathan (Prasanna) and Meera Chandrasekaran (Lekha Washington) are both engineers belonging to typical Brahmin families. Too busy with their respective careers, they decide to outsource the job of finding their life partners to their parents. After carefully scrutinising the various matrimonial websites and taking into account the job profile, annual salary and family background, Meera’s parents zero in on Raghu. After finishing a successful meeting with his movie producers in Bangalore, Nanda, a jingles composer catches the highway to Chennai. On his way his car breaks down and he hitchhikes with Arjun, a businessman's son on his way to the same destination. Goa is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, who with the project. Starring Jai, Vaibhav and Premji Amaran in the lead roles along with Sneha, Piaa Bajpai and the debutant Australian model Melanie Marie in other roles, the film features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film follows the journey of three young men, Ramarajan, Vinayagam and Saamikannu, who flee from their remote, conservative village to escape their overly strict families and travel to the international tourist-destination Goa, after encountering a friend who had fallen in love with a Caucasian girl whilst on holiday there. The film explores their time in Goa, the people they meet ranging from gay hoteliers to suave casino owners, and dwells on the relationships they encounter in the region.
Senthil Kumar (Prasanna) and Malini (Sneha) are a happily married couple in New Jersey, living life like any other born-in-India, arrived-in-the-US couple do. He submerges himself in the office and eats sambhar rice at home and she never misses a bhajan at the temple and shops at Indian stores. They have a daughter Rithika (Akshaya Dinesh), 5 years old, the apple of their lives (their car's registration number carries the name of their daughter.) They have just settled down in a new, spacious home about which Malini, understandably, has fears. The couple squabble amicably about everything from her perpetual laundry and cooking; while Senthil argues with friends about the significance of viboothi (holy ash, usually applied on forehead) and takes his family on weekend trips and birthday parties. It is a normal, happy life in the US until Robertson (John Shea) arrives, to paint the basement. Now, things are never the same at home again.
Sathyamoorthy, an orphan, vents his feelings in a poem but doesn’t submit it to a magazine. Surprisingly he reads a poem, penned by a girl, in a magazine that is quite similar to what he has written. He is amused and sets off to find the girl. He finds that she is a college student and living in Kutralam. He writes a letter and gets a reply. The friendship develops and it gradually evolves into love.
The movie starts of with a robbery of 20 crores in Pondicherry DID Bank where a college girl is killed by one of the thieves. The same night as the robbery, the manager of the bank (Manivannan) commits suicide.After this the story opens up in Chennai where Shiva Sundaram (Prasanna) a visible foolish person comes in search of David Raj (Manoj K. Jayan) where he saves a girl from being raped by one of David Raj's men.
The humour here is the "Tom & Jerry", one-man- upmanship type. Prasanna wants to become a cop, but the arrogant police officers Manivannan and Sada ensure that he does not succeed. Meanwhile he discovers a plot to assassinate the governor (visu) by the terrorist Riaz Khan and he complains it to the assistant commissioner of police (Sada),but discovers that Sada is also A member of the plot. So he finds a detective agency and starts cracking the plot and he succeeds in it.

The story focuses on five friends at the Madras Institute of Technology, who want to remain friends and hope to join the same company after graduation. During a vacation, one of the friends, Ilango, goes home, where he is forced to get married to his rustic cousin, While their dream to work together becomes true, Ilango alone gets a transfer to Bombay. The friends force Elango to visit his wife before leaving for Bombay and put him on a train. But Elango manages to get off the train and from there loses touch with his friends and family in the village. The friends part and six years later, two of the five come back to join the two girls in Chennai. On the train in the journey back, Prabhu, one of the friends, and Ilango's wife Eashwari meet each other. Prabhu falls in love with Eashwari without realizing who she is.
Thupparivaalan 2 is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film produced and directed by Vishal who also plays the lead role. A sequel to the 2017 film Thupparivaalan, it also stars Prasanna and Ashya. The music will be composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
