The film revolves around the life of NRI Gopinatha Menon, who returns to his ancestral home after a long time. He starts to plant trees, buy land, end alcoholism, abduct children, promote religious harmony and a lot more so he could finally achieve mental peace. All the while his younger son (simp) tries to create more problems as he is after Gopinath Menon's immense wealth that is spread across the United States, Canada and South India.

Jayadevan is a most-wanted writer in the Malayalam Television industry, who pens the scripts for all major soap operas. The marriage brings in a lot of changes in Jayadevan's life and this forms the crux of the story.

Vasutty and his son Sajan are Taxi drivers. When Vasutty drives a 72 model Ambassador, Sajan drives an Innova. Sajan, Deepak, and Parvathy are best friends. Deepak runs a drama academy and Parvathy is an interior designer. Once Sajan happens to drive Vasutty's car and that changes Sajan and his friends' fortunes forever. At this stage Janaki enters their life. As days pass by they realize that what they thought to be fortune turns out to be their misfortune. Rajasenan's '72 Model' plots their efforts to come across these troubles.

Manu Krishnan (Dileep) is a male nurse in a reputed hospital. He is the Son of Ratheesh Kumar (Cochin Haneefa), a film junior artist. He has a special relationship with Dr. Priya (Vimala Raman), but is also in love with Leena (Samvrutha Sunil), the star contestant in the popular music reality show. Manu later in search of a job goes to an Agraharam to take care of a mentally ill patient and a girl from the Agraharam, Bhama (Sruthi Lakshmi) falls in love with him. Now the three girls want to marry Manu but none of their parents want to have Manu as son-in-law. The rest of the movie is about the trouble Manu has to take when the three meet and whom does he marry.

Madhu aka Madhavan (Jayaram) is a successful playback singer. Chandramathi (Urvashi) is his illiterate, rustic, betel-chewing wife with a bad habit of spitting in wrong places, and they have four children. It can be described as incompatible matrimony but still a happy one. Madhu loves his wife even though they are out of sync because she has brought him luck. Here enters Lekha (Mamta Mohandas), a sophisticated urban model-cum-singer, who finds a place in the hearts of all the family members. Chandramathi thinks Lekha will be the perfect wife for her husband and a good mother for her children.

Kanakambaran owner and actor of a failing theatrical company gets a chance to enact a real-life drama.

Sneha (Navya Nair) is a popular actress. Jeevan is a junior artist (Jayasurya) who is attracted to her. One day while shooting, Jeevan kidnaps Sneha and takes her to an unknown location. Sneha's family and her colleagues try to negotiate with Jeevan to get Sneha back, but Jeevan does not want to give Sneha back. After a few days of keeping her as a hostage, Jeevan decides to give her back and surrender. He confesses that he took Sneha as a hostage because he saw her suicide note in her diary. Sneha understands the true love he has for her and saves him from the charges that were awaiting him. Finally the two unites.

The elder Kurup’s daughter Aswathy (Gayathri Raghuram) is in love with her muracherukkan, Subhadra’s son Ananthu (Prithviraj), but their parents object to the match. They are encouraged by Chandutty (Jagathy Sreekumar), Bhaskaran (Tharikida Sabu) and Shankunni (Baiju).

Sanjeevan, a police officer, who lives with his father and two sisters, falls in love with the police commissioner's daughter and gets married to her. Soon the girl starts creating problems in their life.

The film tells the story of a rich orphan - Apputtan, a generous and liberal man. He helps settle the financial woes of people in the village. He is attracted to a girl whose education he has been sponsoring. But her response to his love after becoming a doctor at his expense, was something Apputtan had least expected.

Payyarathu Padmanabhan Nair(Kalamandalam Kesavan), who is a well known personality is Praised by the people. Mahadevan and his uncle Kumar are still struggling to find money after the deaths of Mahadevan's parents and Kumar's sister. One day, luck comes to them when Mahadevan wins a car as the 1st prize of a promotional contest held by a washing-powder brand. The new car brings him a lot of bad luck.

Ranganayak, a rich women, has three sons : Gopi, Madhu and Balu. Ranganayaki wants absolutely a grandson and she will pass on her whole inheritance to her son who has a male child. The elder sons have only daughters and Balu is still bachelor. Balu is a singer in the marriage functions and he falls in love with Swathi, a girl from a middle-class family. He gets married with her and Swathi becomes pregnant. Balu's best friend, Raja, an honest journalist, is married to Shanthi and his wife is also pregnant. Swathi and Shanthi deliver the same day. Balu has a daughter although Raja has a son. In the meantime, Ranganayaki has a severe heart attack and the doctor says to not reveal shock news. In the hospital, a misunderstanding happens and Balu's father shows Raja's son to Ranganayaki in a serious condition. Ranganayaki is immediately recovered. Balu maintains the lie to save his mother's life. What transpires next forms the rest of the story.

Balabhaskaran (Jayaram) suffers from sleepwalking. He walks long distances in the night and many mishaps happen during this. He is cheated by his friend Johnie (Madhupal) who wants to extort some money from Balabaskar by blackmailing him. Balabasker's father marries him off to Chandrika in the hope that this will help him to get over his sleepwalking.

Appu and Maya were childhood sweethearts, and their parents had agreed to their marriage. Appu is treated by Maya's father as his own son and this makes her uncle jealous of him. Maya's mother belongs a branch of local royal family. However, Maya's life turns upside down when she is identified as the heir to her mother's royal family after her horoscope matched with the qualities that the royal family was looking for. The Maharaja proposed to adopt her as heir princess to continue the lineage. Greed and position, makes her father looking ways to get rid of Appu, who might stand an obstacle and er Uncle then forces her to hate Appu in order for her to marry someone from the royal family. Meanwhile Appu and his best friend Mani try to win her back by disguising himself as Veerandran Varma, nephew of the King whom none of them have seen before, being the son of King's estranged sister Padmini.

Balachandran Unnithan (Jayaram) is a singer who falls in love with Ambika, a singer from his own troupe. They both end up getting married. Balachandran's family has been longing for a male child to inherit the family's wealth, but his elder brothers were having only female children. Ambika gets pregnant. Balachandran realizes that his wife is carrying a daughter, and not a son. Later, he meets his old classmate and best friend, Padmarajan, whose wife Hema was also pregnant. She was bearing a male child. However, their babies were swapped by mistake by Balu's mother soon after delivery. Both Padmarajan and Balu must keep this as a secret to see their children. When Balu's cousins discover this, the babies get kidnapped by the antagonists.

The film follows brothers Chettan Bava and Aniyan Bava, and their driver Premachandran with whom the daughters of both the Bavas fall in love. This makes the Bavas enemies and it becomes their issue of pride on who will marry Premachandran. On top of this includes Sundaran trying to take Premachandran down.

Omanakuttan Pillai, Cherian Thomas and Mahendran Thambi are retired citizens. In order to keep themselves busy, they decide to set up a drama troupe.

Unnikrishan (Jayaram) wants to become a secret agent like his idol, Prem Nazir. His parents and his girlfriend support him but Unnikrishan still cannot find a job. He later gets selected as a trainee in a private detective agency called Secret Files. He is given the task of investigating a businessman's daughter's record. He faces two rivals, Premshankar who pretends to love Arundathi, and Oomen Koshy is a working as a gardener in her house. They are from the same detective agency investigating the same case. Things go wrong and the 3 decide to investigate the case as a group.

A young man marries a Tamil girl, and fearing his family, he brings her to the house as a servant. Problem starts when his elder brothers falls for her too.

The story is about an ordinary family man Premachandran (Jayaram), who faces troubles when his wife Sulochana (Gautami) develops an inferiority complex about their family life, after seeing their happily married neighbours Rajeevan and Radhika (Siddique and Vaishnavi).

Sudhakaran though hesitant gives into the suggestion and gets married to Hrudayakumari. Hrudayakumari, the new bride is a simple girl with the stubbornness and willfulness of a child. Her behaviour vexes Sudhakaran and his mother.
