Tonio travels to India to convince his old friend Ralf to take up the fight against the unscrupulous entrepreneur Bechtheim, who is buying up large-scale properties on the North Sea on behalf of Chinese investors. Ralf, who lives in a monastery according to the rules of Buddhism, is reluctant to be persuaded to return to Germany from the mountains of the Himalayas after 15 years.
