Ray Comfort

Watch as author and award-winning filmmaker Ray Comfort addresses these seven questions, reasoning with college students and people on the street about whether such objections are justified. Seeing those who are ardently pro-choice change their minds in moments is both compelling and convincing. What reasons would you give for/against abortion?

Thanks to an embarrassing stand-up routine promoting Christian intelligent design, Ray Comfort was dubbed "Banana Man" by Professor Richard Dawkins and mocked by an entire generation of atheists. But Ray's gotten used to it. In fact, he’s been using his banana-based infamy as a way to evangelize even more. Last year, he wrote a book, hoping that would provide some much needed context to his banana bit — it didn’t — and now he’s made this movie documenting the same thing. The problem with the entire routine, though, is that taking an hour to explain a horrible analogy doesn’t work when your starting point is a horrible analogy.

A man is a dog’s best friend. Well, it is in Ray Comfort’s case. Every human being should have a canine. Especially if you’re a Christian (Ray’s dog put his evangelism on steroids). And your dog can do the same for you. If you don’t believe that, I think you will after watching “Dogs Can Talk.”

A chilling movie based on the life and death of John Lennon. "Genius" reveals what people will do for money. There are ordinary people out there who would kill you. All they need is the right amount of money and the belief that they won't get caught. Just before he was murdered, John Lennon told Playboy magazine that he didn't want to die at 40. Ironically the famous singer was gunned down at the age of 40 by a man who killed him just because he wanted to become famous. Many think that John Lennon was a musical genius. His music has crossed cultures and even generations--the Beatles have sold more than 2,303,500,000 record albums, and in June of 2012 they hit number one on iTunes. They are as big now as they ever were and they're half dead--with the tragic loss of Lennon and Harrison.

The film begins by showing images of the Holocaust, and stating that Hitler sanctioned the killing of 11 million people. This is followed by Comfort interviewing people about Adolf Hitler; their responses indicate a lack of historical knowledge, although he also finds a neo-Nazi who claims to love Hitler. Comfort proposes a hypothetical situation to his interviewees, asking if they would kill Hitler if they had the opportunity at that time in history. He asks more hypotheticals dealing with what his interviewees might do in other circumstances related to the Holocaust. He then switches his topic to make similar comparisons to abortion within the United States and the right to life, personalizing his arguments to make comparisons between the Holocaust and abortion in order to place the interviewees on the spot. The documentary concludes with Comfort stating that over 50 million abortions have occurred to date; he calls this the "American Holocaust".

Its homicide rate is a staggering eight times higher than the national average. In the one city, more than 50 street gangs vie for control of a massive crack cocaine and methamphetamine market. But watch how using the biblical principles taught by The Way of the Master cut through to the consciences of even hardened gang members.
