The New WKRP in Cincinnati is a sequel/spin-off of the original CBS sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati. It was made for the syndication market from 1991 to 1993. MTM Enterprises produced the show. Gordon Jump, Frank Bonner, and Richard Sanders reprised their roles from the original show. Other original cast members came in for guest spots, with Loni Anderson returning for two episodes, Tim Reid for one episode, and Howard Hesseman appearing in nine episodes total, as well as directing several other episodes.
Gravedale High is an animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera for NBC Productions. The series premiered in the fall of 1990 on NBC and lasted thirteen episodes. The show was developed as an animated vehicle for Moranis, who had star appearances in the Ghostbusters movies and the popular film series, Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, and would later appear in the 1994 live-action film adaptation of another Hanna-Barbera series, The Flintstones.

Berrenger's is an American primetime television soap opera created by Diana Gould that aired on NBC in 1985. The series revolved around the Berrenger family, a New York dynasty which owned the glamorous department store which bore their name. When a Cincinnati radio station switches from sedate music to top-40 rock 'n' roll, its staff of oddball characters is forced to switch gears quickly. New programming director Andy Travis brings in a new DJ named Venus Flytrap to work with the station's burned-out veteran, Dr. Johnny Fever. Neurotic newsman Les Nessman, eager beaver Bailey Quarters, sleazy salesman Herb Tarlek, blonde bombshell Jennifer Marlowe, who serves as the station's ultra-capable receptionist, and station manager Arthur Carlson, whose domineering mother owns WKRP, round out the eccentric bunch.
