Hugo Stiglitz is a treasure hunter who leads an expedition that includes Roberto Ballesteros, an important scientist, and Edna Bolkan, a beautiful anthropologist, into the jungle. The group arrives at an ancient tomb and after opening it, they take the bones found inside. But the remains in the tomb seem connected to a high priest who was sacrificed. By violating the tomb, the group has unwittingly awoken a diabolical being named Chaneque, who will commit the bloodiest murders in order to retrieve the stolen remains. Diana González works for the police and successfully eliminates narco dealers. One of the narco bosses, Constantino, decides to punish her by making Diana's sister to use drugs. This poor girl ends up dying in a S&M orgy. Now Diana is going to kill all those who wronged her with her Machinegun (La metralleta) while being pursued by drug dealers and the local police.

Two small-town guys get more adventure than they want in the big city in this action comedy from Mexico. Montes (Sergio Goyri) is a none-too-bright yokel from the country who heads into the big city with his best friend Juan (Charly Valentino) to buy a pickup truck. Montes wants to get his vehicle and head on home, but Juan persuades him to take in some of the sights of the big city first. It turns out, however, that Montes had the right idea for a change; while visiting a night spot, they accidentally spy a gang of jewel thieves who are forced to kill someone, and when the crooks give chase, Montes and Juan must spend the night running for their lives.

This fairy type of movie is divided in episodes (Figuras) that are settle either on a jail or an play, in this surrealistic film we are immerse in a Dogville type of stage were the combination of Poetry, testaments and political discourse of the mix of characters of the daily basis and religious figures such as Judas, the virgin, the labor workers, homosexuals, drag queens. Ironically 'Figuras de la passion' has been banned for several years as a product of the attack and angriness of right – winged parties and scholars.
