Have you ever wanted to taste the delicious-looking food you see on cooking shows? Well, that wish has moved a step closer. A professor in Japan has developed a prototype TV screen that you can lick. It is called TTTV. This abbreviation means "Taste the TV". Professor Homei Miyashita from Meiji University in Tokyo created the screen. He said it could become "taste-a-vision". If he created a screen that emits smells, we could also have "smell-a-vision". Professor Miyashita wanted to create a screen that gave a multisensory experience. He hopes his work means that screen technology can move on from just having pictures and sound to a screen that engages the sense of taste too.

Over the Limit (2011) was a PPV, which took place on May 22, 2011 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. It was the second Over the Limit event. The main event was an I Quit match for the WWE Championship between defending champion John Cena and The Miz. In the second main event Randy Orton defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Christian. In a heavily promoted match Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole faced off in a "Kiss My Foot" match. Big Show and Kane defended the Tag Team Championship against The New Nexus (CM Punk and Mason Ryan). Other matches include Sin Cara vs Chavo, Mysterio vs R-Truth, and Ezekiel Jackson vs Wade Barrett.

Capitol Punishment was a PPV which took place on June 19, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. In 2012, this pay-per-view was replaced by the returning WWE No Way Out, and in 2013 with WWE Payback. 4 title defenses rtook place, all in singles matches. Money in the Bank (2011) was a PPV presented by Skittles, which took place on July 17, 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second annual Money in the Bank PPV. The main event featured john Cena defending the WWE Championship against CM Punk with the stipulation that if Punk won, Cena would be fired. This was due to CM Punk's contract being up the next night, and he was threatening to win the title and leave the company with it. On the undercard, Christian faced Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship with the stipulation that the title could change hands in the event of a disqualification. Also featured were the Raw and SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder matches.

Royal Rumble (2011) was the twenty-fourth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It took place on January 30, 2011 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As has been customary since 1993, the Royal Rumble match winner received a match at that year's WrestleMania for his choice at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. The main event was the annual Royal Rumble match featuring 40 participants from both brands, instead of the usual number of 30. The primary match on the Raw brand was for the WWE Championship, between reigning champion The Miz and Randy Orton. The primary match on the SmackDown brand was Edge versus Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship. The other featured match on the card was a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE Divas Championship between Eve Torres, Natalya, Layla and Michelle McCool.

The other was for a WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania XXVII, with CM Punk, John Cena, John Morrison, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and R-Truth competing. Jerry Lawler challenged The Miz for his WWE Championship in a singles match and The Corre challenged Santino and Vladimir Kozlov for the tag team Championships.

SummerSlam (2011) was a PPV that took place on August 14, 2011. It was the third consecutive SummerSlam presented by 7-Eleven. For the third consecutive year, SummerSlam was held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and it was the 24th annual SummerSlam event. The main event was a singles match for the Undisputed WWE Championship between John Cena and CM Punk, with Triple H as the special guest referee. The title was held by both men as CM Punk left the company with the title which led to John Cena winning the interrim title. Christian defended the World Heavyweight Championship in a No Holds Barred match against Randy Orton. The Divas Championship was also defended by Kelly Kelly against Beth Phoenix. Other matches included Wade Barrett vs Daniel Bryan, Shemus vs Mark Henry, and a six-man tag team match between Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, and Rey Mysterio against The Miz, R-Truth, and Alberto Del Rio.

Over the Limit (2010) was a PPV presented by Axe Hair, which took place on May 23, 2010 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. It was the first event promoted under the Over the Limit name. In the main event from the Raw brand, John Cena faced Batista for the WWE Championship, while The Big Show versus World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger was the main event from the SmackDown brand. Matches on the undercard included Randy Orton against Edge, CM Punk facing Rey Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. The primary match of the evening was a 14-man interpromotional elimination tag match for 'ragging right' between the two brands. Smackdown was represented by Big Show, Mysterio, Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Tyler Reks, and Kofi while Team raw was composed of The Miz, R-Truth, Shaemus, Santino, John Morrison, CM Punk, and Ezekiel Jackson. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending the title against Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Barrett lost, John Cena would be fired. A second main event was a Buried Alive match for the World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion Kane and The Undertaker.

Extreme Rules (2010) was a PPV presented by KFC, which took place on April 25, 2010 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the second event promoted under the Extreme Rules name. There were eight matches scheduled on the event's card, all of which featured an 'extreme' stipulation, with no regular singles matches on the card. The main event was a Last Man Standing match between WWE Champion John Cena and Batista. The World Heavyweight Championship was defended by Jack Swagger against Randy Orton in an Extreme Rules match. There were two matches that were deemed the main events of the program. The first was the triple threat match featuring The Undertaker defending the World Heavyweight Championship against the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show. This was also followed by the another triple threat main event match with John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Four matches comprised the undercard of the event. The second was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship, between defedning champion Edge against John Cena & Big Show. With an attendance of 72,744, it is the 6th largest attendance in WrestleMania history.

Survivor Series (2008) was a PPV that took place on November 23, 2008 at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, It was presented by THQ's WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The event, the 22nd Survivor Series, featured talent from WWE's all three brands, Raw, SmackDown and ECW. The main event was for the World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena, and the champion, Chris Jericho. Another match on the event was the SmackDown main event, which saw Edge, Vladimir Kozlov, and the champion Triple H, in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship. The undercard matches included The Undertaker versus The Big Show in a Casket Match and three five-on-five elimination tag team matches.

Bound for Glory (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on October 23, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Bound for Glory name and tenth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. The show was promoted as TNA's premiere PPV event and their equivalent to the rival World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) WrestleMania. Ten professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the card, three of which involved championships. The main event was for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which champion Jeff Jarrett fought the challenger Rhino with Tito Ortiz as Special Guest Referee. The match was originally Jarrett versus Kevin Nash with Ortiz as referee, however Nash was not cleared to wrestle due to a medical emergency. A Ten-Man Gauntlet match was held to determine Nash's replacement, which Rhino won.

Sacrifice (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on August 14, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first show of the Sacrifice series and eighth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Nine professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the card. The main event was a Tag Team match between the team of Jeff Jarrett and Rhino facing the team of Raven and Sabu, in which if Jarrett pinned Raven he would earn a future NWA World Heavyweight Championship match. If Raven pinned Jarrett in the contest, then Jarrett would not receive a championship match for an entire year.

Armageddon (2000) was a professional wrestling PPV that took place on December 10, 2000, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
