On a gloomy Monday morning, my week begins. Although I (Bakarhythm) am sleepy, I put on my make-up and I leave home for work at a bank. I take the subway filled with passengers and get off on the nearest subway station from work. I meet Maki Fujikawa (Kaho) at that subway station. She is my closest colleague at work. While talking with each other, we get to our workplace.

What was once a superlative varsity baseball coach is now a jaded middle-aged man. He and a former student meet and the older man discovers that his now married pupil is afflicted with terminal cancer. Full of regrets of how he once treated the student the man ponders how to make it up to the man whom he once coached

The story revolves around the relationship between Rei Kosaka, a tsundere guy who easily gets worked up and who always says, "just die already", and Nana Kano, a girl who habitually cuts her wrists and who always says, "I want to die."

Miki, Yuto, Hiroko, Naoki and Kota have been friends since they were little. They all graduated from high school. They have dreams about their future as well as anxiety. Miki's father goes missing with her college admission fee. Yuto has discord with his father who runs an auto repair shop. Yuto happens to get involved in a crime. Hiroko wants to marry her boyfriend, but she also distrusts him. Naoki and Kota have their own worries. These five friends think about themselves for the first time.

Living away from his family, a physical therapist sees his father entering the hospital he works at and watches him getting weaker, as his other patients’ conditions worsen.

Kanji Senkawa receives requests which the police or private investigators can't handle. He solves the cases by threatening people. Kanji Senkawa meets wealthy university student Mio Kanesaka. She has a good heart and and can't ignore those in difficult situations. Kanji and Mio get involved in various cases including voice phishing and kidnappings.

Mika works as a nurse by day; by night she entertains covetous men at a girls’ bar. Shinji is blind in one eye and ekes out a living as a construction worker. Young and grown-up at the same time, they both lead a lonely existence, but somehow their paths keep miraculously crossing under the Tokyo sky. Can loneliness be experienced together?

The drama is based on a blog written by Baka Rhythm between 2006 and 2009 where he posed as a OL nicknamed Kakuu Masuno who supposedly worked in a bank and wrote stories about the daily feelings of a OL from her perspective and the people around her.

Yuki is a 2nd year high school student. She volunteers at a paediatrics ward for her summer vacation, because she wants to witness the moment a person dies. She got that thought after feeling envious of a transfer student's story of seeing a friend's dead body. Yuki has friend named Atsuko. She was bullied in the past and has anxiety issues. She volunteers at a nursing home for her summer vacation, hoping that she will gain courage if she sees the moment a person dies.

Hinako Todo (Haru) is a first-year detective who graduated from the police academy at the top of her class. She always carries with herself a bottle of shichimi chili peppers which was left by her late mother and sprinkles shichimi over everything she eats. Despite her a bit quirky/cheerful demeanor, she holds dark secrets locked deep within her heart… Hinako became a detective, because she wants to find the line between people who kill and those who don't. Once her "crime-solving switch" is on, nothing can stop Hinako from tackling even the most bizarre crime cases. Armed with her overwhelming memory and unstoppable curiously, will Hinako be able to find answers to her question through seeking to solve various crimes?

Set in Shizuoka and Tokyo, Japan in the late 1980's. Takkun (Shota Matsuda) is a university student in Shizuoka attempting to find a job. Mayu (Atsuko Maeda) is a dental hygienist. They meet through a blind date and begin to date, but Takkun finds a job in Tokyo and goes there. They begin a long distance relationship, but their relationship breaks down.

22-year-old Kanami is constantly conscious of people's gaze due to the birthmark on her face. Upon coming in to contact with the eccentric people at the beauty salon where she has begun working, Kanami gradually let's go of her past anguish.

Yukie (Rina Takeda) is a female high school student who lives in a small fishing village. The village itself is going through a slump. Yukie and her classmates decide to get pregnant around the same time to pull the village out of its slump.

Satellite-city resident Yayoi feels like her days spent on the train commuting to school are filled with emptiness. One day she encounters a ghost-like guy and Zaningen's music, and her boring life starts to change.

Film director and actor Shingo Ota, known for his highly acclaimed documentary facing his friend's suicide, THE END OF THE SPECIAL TIME WE WERE ALLOWED, now tackles social problems by depicting youths in the worst slum in Japan. It was filmed with local support in some of Osaka's roughest areas, using a semi-documentary approach to capture the lifestyles of their inhabitants. With FRAGILE, Ota is determined to show that poverty, illness, and crime are problems of our own, not someone else's.

Kinichiro Imamura spent 3 years doing nothing in high school. On the day of his high school graduation, Kinichiro falls down the stairs at school.
