Bernardo is a renowned architect and professor at the University of Buenos Aires. He just buried his wife, refusing to fulfill his desire to be incinerated and thrown into “Costa del Sol”. Only when his wife’s grave is desecrated, he decides to take the trip to Spain. With Abel, owner of a bankrupt real estate business, and Amalia, a beautiful public relations employee, Bernardo will be involved in absurd situations to get rid of the ashes of his wife. Bernardo will discover that he didn’t know his wife as much as he imagined.
It tells the story of two young friends who must find a way for the president of the company in which they work (and father of one of them) safe return home, and that is enclosed strange circumstances naked in the trunk of his car.
During the dictatorship of Franco the americans set up military bases in Spain -several of them in Andalusia, near Seville- bringing young americans into contact with an incipient vitalist and rebel movement that is developing in Seville. The underground is born in Spain.
Daniel is approaching forty. Laura is almost sixteen. From what they say about him he must be a poet or a comic-strip illustrator, or both. He has just overcome a long addiction and, once back home, is trying to recongnize his life based on a strategy which consists basically in DOING EXACTLY WHAT A "NORMAL" PERSON DOES. Everything that happens to Daniel is, more or less, foreseeable because that's what it's all about: he should look after his personal grooming, take care of the small things, immerse himself in the real world... and so on until he has completed the ten small achievements in his manual, a set of COMMANDMENTS devised by an insipid public health system psychiatrist. And, in the midst of all this, an unexpected happening: Laura arrives in the city searching for her brother Andres, Daniel's neighbor. But the brother is not home and she decides to wait for him, while organizing around Daniel what could be his "perfect world".
Once upon a time... There were four young men of different nationalities: Spanish, Italian, Swedish and British, a one-pound business deal that ends up becoming a one-hundred-thousand pound business deal, and a legend: The Legend of David Pilgrim. This is the basic idea behind The Pilgrim Factor, a story half-way between a comedy and a tale, about anonymous characters who accidentally happen to come across something that could prove doubtful the authenticity of the world's most famous rock group. All this takes place right in the centre of "Chicken Town"... a city where everything is possible... even a story like this one.
