This work depicts a "five" locked room mystery drama about two high school students, which develops in the first train in the early morning, the family restaurant after school, and the gondola of the Ferris wheel. A word that suddenly changes from everyday life to extraordinary, a psychological warfare on searching each other's minds. Youth, a fragile blue human figure, is depicted in a peculiar situation called a locked room.

Maiko Misono, who had been working abroad to become a professional ballet dancer, gave up on her dream and returned to Japan. With nothing else to do but ballet, she starts working as a Japanese language teacher at a high school near her parents' home. But for Maiko, who has just given up on her dream, high school is an ironic place full of dreams and hopes. In addition, she is made the advisor of the volleyball team, a position she has no experience in, and her homeroom class is full of unique students, which only adds to her anxiety.

In a seaside town where very little happens, middle school students Keisuke Isobe and Koume Satou live a rather dull life. But when Koume's crush breaks her heart, their situation becomes quite unordinary. She starts a "no-strings-attached" relationship with Keisuke, whom she had previously rejected, both finding solace in the other in order to fill the emotional voids in their lives. Umibe no Onnanoko takes a harsh look at love, relationships, and the emotional price that will be paid as the result of a decision made between two teenagers.

At midnight, in a residential area of Osaka, a middle aged man is murdered. The person who killed the man is a high school student. En (Honoka Matsumoto) is a 2nd grade high school student. She spends her boring days with her friend Kotoko, who tends to change boyfriends frequently. Kotoko falls in love with Narihira-kun at first sight. Narihira-kun is a soccer player at their high school. Since then, the relationship between En and Kotoko changes.

Momi’s House is a facility to support self-reliance of young people with problems. The facility is run by Yasutoshi (Naoto Ogata) and his wife Megumi (Misato Tanaka). Ayaka (Sara Minami) is a 16-year-old girl. She has refused to go to school for about half a year. Her mother decides to send her to Momi’s House. While staying there, Ayaka begins to change.

Hijiri has always dreamed of becoming a teacher, and she has just started teaching a 9th grade class at Koboshi Junior High School. She is engaged to Shotaro, an elite trading company employee working in Osaka, who she has been dating since university. Although their relationship is long-distance, nothing could come in between them... at least that's what she thought until she met Akira. Akira is still fourteen years old, but there is something mysterious and charming about him. Hijiri knows that as a teacher, she cannot be attracted to her student, but his love for her is so pure and straight, that she finds herself slowly becoming infatuated by him.

Arakawa Ao (Wakaba Ryuya) lives happily on his own and hardly ever leaves Shimokitazawa, where he works at a vintage clothing shop, goes to occasional concerts and hangs out at his favorite bar. Then, he gets an unusual request to appear in an independent film.
