Greed was the final PPV event from World Championship Wrestling (replacing the promotion's March PPV event Uncensored which was held from 1995 to 2000). It took place on March 18, 2001 from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida. The PPV event took place eight days before the final episode of Monday Nitro. The main event of Greed was Scott Steiner defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a Fallas Count Anywhere match against Diamond Dallas Page. Invasion (also typeset as InVasion) was a PPV presented by Sony's PlayStation 2. It took place on July 22, 2001 at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This event was originally planned to be called Fully Loaded 2001, as it was advertised at the King of the Ring 2001 event, which immediately preceded Invasion. Invasion was the first PPV to feature the Invasion of wrestlers from the WWF taking on a combined force of wrestlers from World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), later known as The Alliance. The main event, dubbed the "Inaugural Brawl," was a five-on-five tag team match between Team WWF and Team WCW/ECW. The other main match was a singles match for the WWF Hardcore Championship between Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy.

Bash at the Beach 2000 took place on July 9, 2000 from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The main event was initially Jeff Jarrett versus Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, however a second world title match was held impromptu later in the evening. This has often been debated as to if it was a scripted event by Russo or not. Starrcade (2000) was the eighteenth annual Starrcade professional wrestling PPV event. It was the thirteenth and last Starrcade event produced by WCW. It took place on December 17, 2000 at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. The main event was between Scott Steiner and Sid Vicious for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The event also featured a tag team match between the Perfect Event defending against the Insiders for the WCW World Tag Team Championship and a rematch between Lex Luger and Goldberg. New Blood Rising was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by World Championship Wrestling that replaced WCW's August PPV event Road Wild. It took place on August 13, 2000 from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. The name is a reference to the New Blood faction within WCW. The main event was Booker T defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Jarrett. Another primary match was a Triple Threat match between Goldberg, Kevin Nash, and Scott Steiner. Survivor Series (1999) was the thirteenth annual Survivor Series PPV. It was presented by Rent-A-Center, and took place on November 14, 1999 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The main event was a Triple Threat match–a non-elimination match involving Triple H, The Big Show and The Rock for the WWF Championship. The Big Show was a replacement for Stone Cold Steve Austin, who had been run down by a car earlier in the night. The undercard featured New Age Outlaws versus Al Snow and Mankind for the WWF Tag Team Championship, Chyna versus Chris Jericho for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle in his WWF in-ring debut against Shawn Stasiak and several Survivor Series elimination tag team matches.
