Fastlane is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. It is scheduled to take place on March 21, 2021, and will broadcast from the WWE ThunderDome, hosted at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. It will be the sixth event under the Fastlane chronology and the first since 2019. It will also be the first event to also stream via Peacock's WWE Network channel in the United States, and the last to be available on the standalone version of the WWE Network in the U.S., as beginning in April, U.S. subscribers will only be able to access the WWE Network via Peacock.

In a night where every championship is on the line, this event featuring WWE's titleholders includes Drew McIntyre defending his WWE Championship against Randy Orton in an Ambulance Match, Roman Reigns facing off against his cousin Jey Uso for the Universal Championship, while Bayley defends her SmackDown Women's Championship against Nikki Cross.

Back in May of this year, there was a brief panic when all of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Social Media changed over to Bar Wrestling. Many feared the worst, that PWG had folded or been re-branded. But as it turned out, it was because PWG co-founder and former owner Joey Ryan was starting his own promotion, called Bar Wrestling, and still had control of the old accounts. PWG resumed life as normal, and on June 8, Bar Wrestling launched it's first event in Baldwin Park, California.

UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. LaFlare (also known as UFC Fight Night 62) was a mixed martial arts event held on March 21, 2015 at the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Soto was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on August 31, 2014 at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. A Bantamweight Championship rematch between current champion T.J. Dillashaw and former champion Renan Barão was expected to headline this show. Their first fight, contested at UFC 173, ended in a fifth round TKO victory for Dillashaw. However, the day of the weigh ins, Barão had to be admitted to the hospital as a result of his attempts to cut weight. Dillashaw faced UFC newcomer Joe Soto in the main event. Subsequently, Soto's opponent, Anthony Birchak, was removed from the card entirely. Due to the many unexpected changes, Joe Rogan began the event's weigh ins show by introducing the crowd to "the haunted UFC card". Due to the several last minute cancellations, the event took place with only eight bouts on the card, making it the smallest UFC PPV event, since UFC 72 in 2007.

Invicta FC 1: Coenen vs. Ruyssen was the inaugural event of the promotion held on April 28, 2012 at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was headlined by former Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Marloes Coenen and French fighter Romy Ruyssen, who had lost to Coenen by 2nd round submission in her second professional fight in 2008. The event also marked the MMA debut of 2008 Summer Olympics women's freestyle wrestling medalist Randi Miller. The event was not televised, but was available as a free video stream at the Invicta Fighting Championships webpage. Fighters Sofia Bagherdai, Randi Miller, Ashleigh Curry, and Romy Ruyssen missed weight for their bouts. Bagherdai and Curry forfeited 10% of their purse to their opponent, while Miller and Ruyssen foreited 25% of their purse to their opponent.
