After his first day at school 6 year old Hugo doesn't want to continue to go to this "institution". He appeals to God to become a grown up, who fulfills his wish and lets him experience life as an adult in the body of his father, a police physician. When Hugo falls under suspicion of having failed in his profession he again turns to God.
The hero-worship that Simone has for a pop singer is built to a crescendo until she passes out when she finally sees him up-close in a crowd of fans pushing him for autographs. She is later shocked when he lets her know that he does not love her. In an instant, she is caught "in a trance" and feels a murderous urge that is bigger than the both of them.
The young daughter of a US Senator is drawn into a hippie "free love" cult called "The Children of Light" by the blond boyfriend of the cult's leader, a mysterious and beautiful Asian woman. The cult turns out to be not quite the "free" love community it presents itself to be.
While attempting to interview an elusive gangster, photojournalist Emanuelle notices a man pushing a girl in a wheelchair through the airport. Later, in another country she sees the same man and the girl up and walking. Intrigued, she does a bit of investigating and uncovers an organization dealing in the buying and selling of young women. She goes undercover into the organization but finds that getting out again could cost her her career...and her life.
