Arvind who came to the city from a rural area, is a naive employee in a company. He cannot tolerate corruption, bribery, breaking rules, lavishness and the urban culture of youth in cities. He is caught by traffic police for a minor mistake though not of his own. Although he has all documents with him, he is asked a bribe by traffic policeman. When he refuses to pay the bribe, a complaint is booked against him and he is sentenced by the court, even though he complains about the bribe. Finally he does a sting operation with 2 of his friends and 10 honest employees in various government offices by applying for identy cards like PAN card, voter card, ration card for an anonymous person.
Karunakar, Malli and Chandu are close friends and each of them has individual goals. Karunakar is in love with his cousin whose father wants him to get a government job first. Malli dreams of going to a foreign land as soon as he gets his passport, while Chandu aims to set up a Computer training centre and is in love with Karunakar’s sister Pavithra. The trio enjoy life hanging out together. Karunakar’s friend Santosh, son of a politician, is in love with his family’s arch rival's daughter. The three friends come forward to unite these love birds against all odds. In the process, Karunakar loses job and misses his cousin, Malli loses his hearing, and Chandu has his leg amputated. 10 days later, the married lovers seek divorce. The friends, who sacrificed so much to unite them, now teach them a lesson.
Chandamama (Telugu: చందమామ, English translation: Moon) is a 2007 Telugu movie directed by Krishna Vamsi with Navdeep and Shiva Balaji in the lead roles. Kalyan and S. Vijayanand, the musical score is provided by K. M. Radha Krishnan and the base story by Akula Venkat. The film was released in September 2007. The film was remade under the name A Aa E Ee in Tamil by AVM Productions.
Annavaram (Pawan Kalyan) has a lot of attachment with his sister Varam (Sandhya). He wants to see his sister trouble free even after marriage and hence wanted to get her married to a city guy who has all the facilities like mixie, grinder, gas stove, running water and such facilities. True to his taste, Annavaram marries Varam to a guy (Shiva Balaji) who stays in Hyderabad. In order to leave her at her husband's place, Annavaram drops Varam in Hyderabad. Aishwarya (Asin Thottumkal) is the neighbour of Varam's husband who is chirpy and moves very close with everyone without any inhibition. During his stay, Annavaram finds that the city is full of goons and his brother-in-law pacifies him not to take everything to head and one should have the adjustment mentality to stay in the city.
Lavanya falls in love with Raghava, a salon owner, but is heartbroken to hear that he is married from his assistant. Thereafter, Raghava takes his friend Balaraju's help to win her back.
