Boochamma Boochodu is a 2014 Sleeper Hit Telugu Horror-Comedy film directed by Rewan Yadu. The film features a honeymooning couple, Karthik (Shivaji) and Sravani (Kainaaz Motiwala),in their new farm house are punctuated by an aberration - ominous signs of the palatial house. The mysterious of the terrorizing spirits form the storyline. Supporting cast include comedians Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Venu, Tagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj and Chammak Chandra.
It is about a woman who is striving to get out of her job as a sex worker and the betrayal she faced from the person she loved after believing rumors about her private life.
The movie tries to caution common man from becoming a prey to the designs of conmen and fake godman, says Rajendra Prasad. “The bitter social message is delivered with humour acting as a sugar coating and my role portrays how by a quirk of fate, a person turns into a godman and then a pawn in the hands of villains,” he says.
In Brahmalokam, Brahma (Rajendra Prasad) has a small tiff with Saraswathi Devi (Kalyani) and he decrees that marriage has to be followed by death. In Bhulokam, Sreenu (Sivaji) a happy go lucky struggling to pass his degree chances upon Swetha (Sonia) and it is love at first sight. Meanwhile, Sreenus friend Sobhan Babu (Venu Madhav) does a penance to Brahma and wins his heart. Brahma gives a pot to Sobhan Babu and tells him to drink it, that will give the power to read anyones fate. However, a situation happens and Sreenu ends up drinking it. In no time, his life falls in place, he wins the heart of Swetha. However, Brahma realizes that this boon is causing trouble to the law of nature. He along with Yama (Jayaprakash Reddy) and Chitragupta (AVS) come to Bhulokam to retake the powers. Whether they are successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Satyameva Jayate is a Telugu film and remake of 2004 Hindi Movie Khakee, starring Dr. Rajasekhar, Shivaji, Sai Kiran, Neetu Chandra, Sanjana and Sheryl Pinto. It was directed by Jeevita with music composed by Chinna. The movie didn't farewell at the box office.
Sanjay (Sivaji) loves an NRI girl Sravya (Kaveri Jha). She invites Sanjay for a holiday along with their family in Bangkok. While travelling to Bangkok his bag is exchanges with that of Tyson (Brahmanandam) who is carrying heads of seven people. The rest of the story is all about how Sanjay comes out clean to prove his innocence in front of Sravya’s parents. Analysis: First half of the film is mediocre. Second half is pathetic. The title Naa Girl Friend Baga Rich is not related to the story. It is a crime thriller narrated with dark humor. The director fails in selecting wrong Hollywood film (8 heads in a duffel bag (1997)) to remake in Telugu and falters in a big way. On a whole, NGFBR is a pathetically made film with unappealing content.
Maa Ayana Chanti Pilladu (Telugu) is a Telugu film released on 25 July 2008, directed by Raja Vannem Reddy. Sivaji and Meera Jasmine played the lead roles. The film was a remake of succeful Tamil Movie En Purushan Kuzhanthai Madiri.Bullabbayi (Sivaji) is fond of his sister-in-law Rajeswari (Meera Jasmine). He loves her so much and wanted to be flawless with good character. Though Rajeswari behaves that she is not interested in him, she really loves him. Bullabbayi has a property dispute with his stepbrother Veerababu (Subbaraju). In a bid to save a girl called Chintamani (Sangeeta) from being sold by a brothel owner (Anuradha) to Veerababu, Bullabbayi pays her money and takes Chintamani with him and keeps her in his outhouse. Bullabbayi tells her to leave the place the next day, but accidentally, seduces Chintamani, after an attack by Veerababu's men against him.
Tulasi is a 2007 Telugu action film produced by D.Suresh Babu on Suresh Productions banner and directed by Boyapati Srinu. It stars Venkatesh, Nayantara in lead roles with music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad. It was later dubbed into Malayalam with the same title. The film recorded as Super Hit at box-office and was also dubbed into Hindi as The Real Man Hero in 2008.
The story revolves around a haunted farmhouse Mantra Nilayam, which is owned by Mantra (Charmi). She tries to sell the house but due to mysterious deaths at the house, nobody comes forward to buy it. A professor, however, agrees to buy the property on the condition that someone stay in the house for three months. Hero (Sivaji), a goon who looks after land settlements, is ready to stay in the house for the commission promised once the house is sold. The remainder of the film involves how Hero solves the mystery behind the deaths.
Raraju (Telugu: రారాజు) is a Telugu film which is directed by K. R. Udhayashankar. G.V.G. Raju (of Godavari fame) produced this film. Gopichand plays the lead role while Meera Jasmine and Ankitha play supporting roles. The film released on 20 October 2006. Kali (Gopichand) lives along with his mother on the business of hiring mike set and lighting equipment for wedding and other ceremonies. Jyothi (Meera Jasmine) is a singer who sings chorus in films. A lady police inspector (Ankitha) keeps on following Kali and tries to seduce him to make him fall in her love. Kali is also a threat for many in his area as he answers only with muscle power if things work against him. Knowing this, once Jyothi claims that she is Kali’s person to save herself from a group of eve teasers. Eve teasers leave her for the fear of Kali. In a dramatic sequence, like in any other film Kali happens to encounter Jyothi. Gopichand inclines for Jyothi and proposes her. But she negates and tells her flash back.
Mr. Errababu (intermediate 5th year) the name it self says much about the character Sivaji is playing in this romantic comedy. This film though revolves around the typical plot of culture, ethics, love and affection it indeed is warm and appealing with its treatment. The story revolves around Errababu falling in love with Pooja (Roma) from London. Her dad Chakravarthy (Nagababu) opposes this but masterminds and separates the lovers pretending nice to them.
Srirangam Brothers - Srinivasachari (K Viswanath) and Ranga (Srikanth) - are versatile Carnatic musicians. Srinivasachari is happily married but has no children. Ranga is a widower with two children. Srirangam Brothers are the biggest music directors in Telugu film industry (Tollywood) and compose music for only traditional and classical genres. Srirangam Brothers always try to help aspiring singers in their music compositions. Surekha (Laya), a TV anchor, falls in love with Ranga and they get married.
Krishna, an atheist, visits the Annavaram temple where he meets Sailaja, an extremely religious woman. Circumstances force them to pretend to be a married couple and while doing so, they fall in love.
