Gabriel Descending is a psychological drama in which the experience is of great importance. Through sound, the soundtrack, tight compositions and conscious use of color we want to create an atmosphere that captures the viewer.

In 1994, a young family of Bosnian refugees find themselves in a little Dutch village after receiving their residence permit. Absurd situations occur as they attempt to turn this new world into their home.

If four bored young friends decide to sell stolen exams, the group gets in a state of euphoria. This seems to give them a feeling of freedom, but how long will it last?
