An adaptation of the Mahabharata is mainly told through the eyes of the Kaurava prince Duryodhana & gives insights on how Duryodhana, who could have been one of the greatest warriors and rulers, ends up being manipulated, and eventually meets an untimely end.
Shivaraj is a rich business man who has no feelings towards relationship. Nayana falls for him and joins his company. But he never reprocates her. He reveals to her that he hates relations and the word 'tomorrow' because one day his father said tomorrow he will return but never didn't. He learns from Nayana's father that his father (Dr.Rajkumar) had dedicated his life for farmers. He also does the same and succeeds. But he falls unconscious on his self created 'Farmers Day'. He tells that the day he was talking to Nayana he had a small accident and discovered that he had cancer which cannot be treated. As the film ends, everybody cry including Nayana who says that she knew about his cancer.

Chandra is a joint production of India Classic Arts and Narasimha Arts. The film was released on 27 June 2013 to positive reviews and emerged as a commercial success, also becoming one of the highest grossing kannada films at its time. He also then learns that he is in fact the son of Raja Chandravarma, the Kadamba king who was deceitfully killed by the Pallava king, Sivaskandhavarma. Upon learning of his illustrious lineage, Mayura dedicates himself to overthrow the Pallava yoke. Returning to Banavasi in the guise of a merchant Mayura builds an army and conquers both Banavasi and the Telugu speaking regions around Srishaila, thus building a vast kingdom.
