Follow the adventures of fireman Sam and his colleagues as they protect the citizens of the Welsh town of Pontypandy. Whenever the alarm sounds, brave Sam and his co-workers can be counted on to jump into a fire engine, hop onto a helicopter, or even launch an inflatable lifeboat to battle blazes, mount rescue missions, or provide medical attention to those in need.
Pontypandy gets a new police station, which is inaugurated by the boss, police chief Rose Ravani. But despite all the joy, policeman Malcolm is a little sad because, in contrast to the big city, there are no exciting criminal cases or mysterious puzzles to be solved in little Pontypandy. Both of that change abruptly when a mysterious "Flying Man" appears. Although it seems to be the great savior in emergencies, it soon becomes clear that the near-disasters were staged. Such a special case calls for special heroes - Norman-Man and Atomic Boy get to the bottom of the matter. And in the process, they are embroiled in an adventure that makes even Norman's wildest dreams look like a hole in an old pair of underpants. Fortunately, there are still fireman Sam and all the others who ensure that neither chaotic "flying men" and nasty villains have a chance in Pontypandy.
