The 2022 NXT: The Great American Bash was the tenth Great American Bash professional wrestling event produced by WWE, and 24th Great American Bash event overall. It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT brand division. The event aired as a special episode of WWE's weekly television series NXT, broadcast on the USA Network. It took place on July 5, 2022, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

WWE Payback 2015 is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WWE. It took place on May 17, 2015, at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It's the third event under the Payback chronology, and the first Payback event to be held outside of the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois.

The 2015 King of the Ring was a professional wrestling tournament held by WWE. Over the Limit (2011) was a PPV, which took place on May 22, 2011 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. It was the second Over the Limit event. The main event was an I Quit match for the WWE Championship between defending champion John Cena and The Miz. In the second main event Randy Orton defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Christian. In a heavily promoted match Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole faced off in a "Kiss My Foot" match. Big Show and Kane defended the Tag Team Championship against The New Nexus (CM Punk and Mason Ryan). Other matches include Sin Cara vs Chavo, Mysterio vs R-Truth, and Ezekiel Jackson vs Wade Barrett.

Capitol Punishment was a PPV which took place on June 19, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. In 2012, this pay-per-view was replaced by the returning WWE No Way Out, and in 2013 with WWE Payback. 4 title defenses rtook place, all in singles matches. This included John Cena defending against R-Truth for the WWE Championship, Randy Orton defending against Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship, Wade Barrett defending against Ezekiel Jackson for the Intercontinental Championship, and Kofi Kingston defending against Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship. The main event was a Triple Threat Steel Cage match for the WWE Championship with The Miz defending the title against John Cena and John Morrison. Another main event was a Ladder match for the vacant World Heavyweight title between Christian and Alberto Del Rio. The undercard featured a Lumberjack match for the WWE tag team Championship between The Corre and Big with Kane, Mysterio fought Cody Rhodes in a Falls Count Anywhere match, Sheamus defended the US Championship in a Tables match against Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton wrestled CM Punk in a Last Man Standing match.

Money in the Bank (2011) was a PPV presented by Skittles, which took place on July 17, 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second annual Money in the Bank PPV. The main event featured john Cena defending the WWE Championship against CM Punk with the stipulation that if Punk won, Cena would be fired. This was due to CM Punk's contract being up the next night, and he was threatening to win the title and leave the company with it. On the undercard, Christian faced Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship with the stipulation that the title could change hands in the event of a disqualification. Also featured were the Raw and SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder matches.

Royal Rumble (2011) was the twenty-fourth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It took place on January 30, 2011 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As has been customary since 1993, the Royal Rumble match winner received a match at that year's WrestleMania for his choice at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. The main event was the annual Royal Rumble match featuring 40 participants from both brands, instead of the usual number of 30. The primary match on the Raw brand was for the WWE Championship, between reigning champion The Miz and Randy Orton. The primary match on the SmackDown brand was Edge versus Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship. The other featured match on the card was a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE Divas Championship between Eve Torres, Natalya, Layla and Michelle McCool.

The other was for a WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania XXVII, with CM Punk, John Cena, John Morrison, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and R-Truth competing. Jerry Lawler challenged The Miz for his WWE Championship in a singles match and The Corre challenged Santino and Vladimir Kozlov for the tag team Championships.

SummerSlam (2011) was a PPV that took place on August 14, 2011. It was the third consecutive SummerSlam presented by 7-Eleven. For the third consecutive year, SummerSlam was held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and it was the 24th annual SummerSlam event. The main event was a singles match for the Undisputed WWE Championship between John Cena and CM Punk, with Triple H as the special guest referee. The title was held by both men as CM Punk left the company with the title which led to John Cena winning the interrim title. Christian defended the World Heavyweight Championship in a No Holds Barred match against Randy Orton. The Divas Championship was also defended by Kelly Kelly against Beth Phoenix. Other matches included Wade Barrett vs Daniel Bryan, Shemus vs Mark Henry, and a six-man tag team match between Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, and Rey Mysterio against The Miz, R-Truth, and Alberto Del Rio.

The primary match of the evening was a 14-man interpromotional elimination tag match for 'ragging right' between the two brands. Smackdown was represented by Big Show, Mysterio, Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Tyler Reks, and Kofi while Team raw was composed of The Miz, R-Truth, Shaemus, Santino, John Morrison, CM Punk, and Ezekiel Jackson. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending the title against Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Barrett lost, John Cena would be fired. Night of Champions (2010) was a PPV that took place on September 19, 2010 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It was the fourth annual event under the "Night of Champions" name and the tenth annual event under the Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. Similar to the previous three events, the concept of the show was that every championship in the company was defended at the event. Randy Orton, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Edge, John Cena, and Chris Jericho competed in a Six-pack challenge elimination match for the WWE Championship.
