Ghost Writer is a 2010 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB. The protagonist of the series, Po Chung-ling, is based on the author of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, a collection of Chinese tales on the supernatural. The series tells how he was inspired to write those stories based on his personal encounters with the supernatural.

A Chip Off the Old Block is a 2009 TVB television drama from Hong Kong produced and created by Poon Ka Tak. The original broadcast was on the TVB Jade with approximately 45-minute long episodes airing five days a week. The final two episodes were an hour and a half long each, which aired during the weekends. A Chip Off the Old Block tells the story of the articulate businessman Chor Chi, who accidentally travels back in time to the 1960s and meets his younger father, Chor Fan.

An Hei has narcolepsy, as he is always tired and falls asleep at random timings. Wong Tai-Sin tries to help An Hei by presenting him a magical sword that is possessed by the spirit of a warrior. Whenever An Hei runs into trouble, the powerful spirit will possess him and help him defeat his enemies. One day, an evil wizard disturbs the quiet town and captures Ho-Choi Ma. Gai Choi-Chi, Shek Kam-Dong and An Hei joins hands to confront the wizard and defeat her to save Ho-Choi Ma. They travel across the continent on their heroic quest, encountering strange and mystical events along the journey.

The Ku family are living in the Republic of China era (1930s) as a prestigious household in a wealthy part of Nanjing. Soon, word spreads that the city is being taken over by Imperial Japanese forces. The Ku family - a family of all daughters and a father and mother of weakening health - are soon forced to pack their belongings to leave the war-torn area. One of their servants recommends they move to the rural areas. To their dismay, life is incredibly difficult and they live in poverty. The family is in pieces as each daughter struggles with numerous difficulties in the countryside. However, all members of the family eventually grow closer together as they work in the rural area.

When their parents died at birth, three sisters were sent to orphanages and were later adopted into three different homes with different backgrounds. When one of the sisters gets sent to prison for killing her stepmother, but one of the other two sisters tell officials she committed the crime to save her sister from going to jail. The youngest sister forges evidence to save them both, but gets caught and gets sent to jail, too. This television series uses women in jail as its storyline, describing the dark side of women in prison.

Just Love is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in May 2005. The drama was broadcast in Singapore's MediaCorp TV Channel 8 in 2007. Secret of the Heart is a 1998 TVB production that was first aired from February 16,1998 to May 10, 1998. The drama had a powerful roster that is made up of Gallen Lo, Felix Wong, Amy Kwok, Kathy Chow, Sunny Chan, Ada Choi, Jessica Hsuan and Nick Cheung. It won three TVB Anniversary Awards, including Best Actor for Gallen Lo, Best Actress for Ada Choi and Best On-Screen Improvement Award for Nick Cheung. The drama also received a late night hour rerun during 2003 and 2010. It was digitally remastered for the 2010 rerun.

The outcome of this second story leads to Ken's friend Jojo being courted by a ghost, and ultimately leads to the final story where Peter Butt unknowingly visits a haunted theater with some of Ken's friends.

Once Upon a Time in Shanghai, also known as New Bund, is a Hong Kong television series and a remake of the 1980 television series The Bund. It was first aired on TVB in Hong Kong in 1996. The series starred Sunny Chan, Gordon Lam and Nadia Chan as the original characters Hui Man-keung, Ting Lik and Fung Ching-ching respectively. It introduced some new changes to the original story, featuring new characters played by Adam Cheng, Carol Cheng and others.
