A married couple die in an accident, leaving behind a son. As he grows up and becomes successful, he comes across reincarnations of his father and mother as youngsters, and vows to bring them back together.

The film is set in the Nelakondapalli village of khammam district in Nizam Princely State of Hyderabad of the late 1940s. The feudal society is under the vice-like grip of an aristocratic family and its head, a Dorasani (Shwetha Menon). Mallamma (Baby Annie) is the darling of the village, who is living in perpetual humiliation. They seek solace in her songs. Brought up by Sambayya, an old man, she develops a mysterious attachment to a basil tree which is regarded as holy by the entire village.

Mass (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is an orphan, who bonds well with his landlord's son Adi (Sunil). He is behind a collegian Anjali (Jyothika) who happens to be the daughter of Vizag city's mafia don Satya (Raghuvaran). This restricts her from falling for him, as it would land him in danger but she finally gives in. She suggests that he ties the knot immediately before her brother (Rahul Dev) and father try separating them. The gangsters in the process kill Mass's best friend Adi (Sunil) when he tries to stop them when they try separating the lead pair, before their marriage. The hero moves into Vizag and stays in an apartment hiding his identity to take revenge on the mafia dons. Finally his quest for revenge is complete, and also he eliminates the anti-social elements in the society by killing them.

Satyam (Sumanth) is an unbelievably nice guy. Everybody likes him--except for the two people he loves most, his father (Malladi Raghava) and Ankita (Genelia D'Souza), the girl with whom he is in love with. Because he and his father don't get along, Sathyam leaves home and starts living with friends. A sensitive man and sensible writer, Satyam ghost-writes for a popular film lyricist. He wants to prove himself as lyricist before meeting Ankita, when he intends to express his love for her; except in the meanwhile, a flamboyant classmate of Ankita proposes to her. The movie then witnesses a turn of events which involves Ankita`s father (Kota Srinivas Rao) who happens to be a good friend of Satyam. In the end, its all a happy ending when Ankita realizes the love Satyam has for her.

Abhiram is a manager in his own ad agency. He hates women and he feels that all women are traitors. Abhirams uncle, who is the chairman of the ad agency, appoints Harika as an assistant manager. Though Abhiram does not like a girl joining his company, he has to live with it as the appointment is made by his uncle. He starts mistreating her. Harika, vexed by Abhirams acts, submits her resignation to Abhis uncle, who then narrates the flashback of Abhiram to Harika.

It also is the first movie for the heroine Yarlagadda Supriya who is the grand-daughter of Akkineni Nageswara Rao (Hero Sumanth's Sister). Pawan Kalyan got recognition for his martial arts performed in the movie. It is directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana and produced by Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts Banner. The music of the movie is scored by Koti.
