Manju, a village belle becomes popular after she participates in a reality show that records her day-to-day life events and telecasts it to the world
The film Kushti is the story of a small village in Northern India where wrestling is a popular sport and an important wrestling match is held every year. Ever year rivals Avtar Singh (Sharat Saxena) and Jiten Singh (Om Puri) try to beat each other in the wrestling match and gain the trusteeship of the village. Rama (Rajpal Yadav) plays the role of a village simpleton and a post-master. It filled with misunderstandings and misconceptions, of hidden identities and secret love-affairs and the outcome is simply hilarious. The movie begins to take a turn when a certain someone delivers a secret package in the wrong hands. Especially someone, who is bound to take advantage and manipulate the real owner of the package.
Drama which carries the message of man's pollution of the environment, in this instance, water. In the story, an old man called Usman, dies of cancer which was caused by the toxic waste in the village water supply. Usman's son Nirmal, identifies the cause of the pollution as the large chemical factory which his father had been campaigning against most of his life. Disturbed by his father's death, Nirmal takes refuge in the fables and images his father had left him with, during their wanderings in the village. His fantasy world merges with reality when he meets a mermaid in the carnival which is visiting the village.
Varghese is a Kalari master & Shyam was his student. He comes to his master declaring his love for Maya. He wants Varghese's help to rescue her. Varghese kidnaps Maya and brings her to Shyam but he tries to kill her. Varghese understands that Shyam is not her lover and she is the only witness in a murder in which involves Shyam.
