Tokimasa Tanabe
Saori is a young woman struggling to make her way in life. Her gay father, Himiko, had abandoned Saori and her mother years before. Now her father's young lover Haruhiko shows up to tell Saori that her father is dying of cancer. Still angry with her father but in need of money, Saori travels to the House of Himiko, a nursing home established by her father for gay men. Over time, a tenuous relationship begins to develop between Saori, her father, and Haruhiko.
When two souls find one another, nothing can tear them apart. Widower Takumi lives a quiet life with his six-year-old son Yuji after the loss of wife and mother Mio. Yuji unfailingly remembers her promise to him: "I'll be with you again in a year's time, when the rains come." On the first anniversary of her passing, Takumi and Yuji are taking a walk in the woods when they come across a woman sheltering from a monsoon downpour.
Shouichi encounters his old friend and caretaker Dr. Higashi Kunieda. Dr. Kunieda, a friend of Yoshihiko Misugi, took care of him while he was hospitalized with amnesia. After catching up on a year of separation Shouichi abruptly leaves to house to fight an Unknown as Agito Burning Form. Unfortunately, after the Unknown flees Shouichi loses control of himself and attacks Dr. Kunieda, who followed Shoucihi and watched him transform. Dr. Kunieda managed to calm him down but Shouichi becomes to afraid of himself and runs away.
"Falling into the Evening" tells the story of a young woman’s confusion when her boyfriend starts a relationship with another. Rica and Kengo have been living together for the past four years. It’s been a very happy time for Rica; the only dark spot being an accident she caused during a shoot for a commercial in which Kengo’s good friend, Shibata, nearly lost his life. The memory of this event weighs heavily on Rica’s conscience. One night Kengo tells Rica that he has fallen in love with a charming but „inscrutable“ woman named Hanako.
