Raja must get out of jail to find out who has framed him, and who is the king-pin behind the smuggling ring.

Unhappy with India's independence from the British, Raja Shamsher Singh and his goons, initially attempt to put their candidate, Shishupal, up for elections. But when opposed by Sangram Singh, they have him killed, and blame Pratap Singh. Sangram's wife, Bharati, rebels, becomes a bandit, and sends her son, Shakti, to Bombay so that he can study and return back to Ramgarh to oppose the tyrannical Shamsher, and have Pratap killed. Years later Shakti does return back but Bharati does not know that he has an hidden agenda - which does not include seeking vengeance from Pratap or Shamsher.

At an early age, Kishen, to provide a better life for himself and his younger brother Karan, entered the underworld. To prevent the same fate from happening to Karan, he sent him abroad, but before this had happened, Karan had fallen in love with his friend Prakash's sister, Paro. Years pass, and now Kishen is the henchman of Anna, a psychotic don. Karan returns to Bombay and immediately goes to meet Prakash, now an honest police officer. But Anna's men kill Prakash right in front of Karan, and he learns of his brother's involvement with Anna. Against Kishen's wishes, he joins Anna's gang and starts tipping off a rival gang. This is revenge for Prakash's death-by playing off one gang against the other, he hopes to exterminate both of them at the same time. In a desperate attempt to get Karan away from it all, Kishen gets him married to Paro. But when the couple are brutally killed on their wedding night, Kishen is out for revenge...
The story is as Interpol agent Himadri gets into Sea king Company by means of faking love with Nina, the daughter of Mr. Sehgal. Himadri's actual plan is to get access to the secret documents of Mr. Sehgal who has an alliance with Mr. Sato. Sato has a chart of the gold treasures dipped under the ocean and Kamakazi, the Japanese Smuggler is after it. Interpol plans to catch Kamakazi through Mr. Sehgal but unfortunately Himadri gets exposed and he is thrown out of the company. In the meantime a businessman gets kidnapped by Kamakazi whose daughter Mari is instructed to seduce Himadri. Helpless Mari agrees in order to save her family. Himadri and Mari, in spite of knowing each other's background story falls in love. After some hard-hitting action, finally Interpol successfully busts kamakazi's racket but the movie ends on a somewgat tragic note as Mari dies in this process and Himadri lives a lonely life.

Bharat Ek Khoj is a 53-episode Indian historical drama based on the book The Discovery of India by Jawaharlal Nehru, that dramatically unfolds the 5000 year history of India from its beginnings to the coming of independence in 1947. The drama was directed, written and produced by Shyam Benegal with cinematographer V. K. Murthy in 1988 for state-owned Doordarshan. Their house-guest Mohan, a lawyer from Chandigarh is a protege of Janak Singh. Karuna and Mohan develop a romantic interest. The story of Paro and Madho, who lived in pre-independence India comes to affect the present.
Samir Sahni is a farmer living with his mom, dad, wife, Rama, a young daughter, and his younger brother, Veer. Samir gets an offer to work in the U.K., and departs accordingly. He would like to settle there, and after doing so, would like his family to also join him. The years go by, and Samir keeps in touch with his family regularly. Then the Sahni family stop receiving any letters from him, and are anxious to know what has happened to him. Veer is asked to travel to U.K. to find out, and he does so. What he finds are tens of thousands of East Indians on fake passports, working for less than minimum wages, poor unhealthy conditions, fear of being deported, and paying half of their earnings to fellow East Indians who had got them here through the underground.
