A dying woman tells her son, Barry Griffith, she had been a surrogate mother for a millionaire, and that he is a twin to that baby. He seeks out his twin, Frank Bentley to get a bite of his inheritance, but he's not the first long-lost brother to call. Barry stakes out across the street from Frank's home so he can spy and release the story to a tabloid paper. In the process, he begins an affair with Frank's mistreated wife.
Veteran catcher Crash Davis is brought to the minor league Durham Bulls to help their up and coming pitching prospect, "Nuke" Laloosh. Their relationship gets off to a rocky start and is further complicated when baseball groupie Annie Savoy sets her sights on the two men.
Bio-Man was a television pilot for an American adaptation of the Super Sentai series, Choudenshi Bioman, produced by Haim Saban in 1986. Although it didn't result in a series, Saban would later successfully adapt the 16th installment of Super Sentai, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger in 1993, starting the Power Rangers franchise.
