Picture Abhi Baki Hai is the journey of Amar Joshi (Sunil Shetty) who runs a video library in banaras and aspires to be a film maker. Despite facing objection from his father Amar Joshi decides to sell his video library and joins a film Institute in London. After completing his course he lands in the city of dreams "Mumbai" to make his film. Suraj (Rajpal Yadav) is a struggling actor doing bit roles in T.V. serials, who Is Amar's only connection in Bollywood. Amar Joshi starts his struggle to make his film by meeting different type of producers who have their own take on Amar's story. After many failed attempts He finally bumps into Monty Chadda (Rakesh Bedi) a P.R. Publicity man who sees good potential in Amar and decides to produce his film. Amar & Monty take help of star secretary Guptaji (Akhil Mishra) to convince Mohini (Udita Goswami) & her starry mother Mummyji (Neena Gupta) who agrees to do the film.
After a dramatic chase, Mumbai Police finally catch up with a severely wounded Sohail Ansari, a terrorist, who assassinated Udyog Mantri Vishwajeet Rana, and hospitalize him. When doctors inform them that he is in a vegetative state, they move him to Neurological Research Institute in Panchgani where his condition is closely monitored by medical staff and Nurse Nupur Chauhan, while the person entrusted with security is Inspector Siddharth Sharma. When Sohail's journalist girl-friend, Surabhee Patel, breaks-in the hospital, they arrest her, hold her in a cell, but subsequently let her go with a warning. Then the Police will face more challenges and launch a man-hunt after they find out that Sohail has abducted Nupur and has gone on the run.
With strong suspicions that her husband is cheating on her, successful businesswoman Janvi (Udita Goswami) begins an affair with her co-worker Aryan (Tusshar Kapoor). But when Janvi decides that she's done fooling around, she learns her new lover has other ideas. Because Aryan doesn't want the relationship to end, he's willing to completely destroy the lives of Janvi and her husband to have his way.

The story is about a young girl, Kaya (Udita Goswami) , living in the beautifully serene valley of Spiti, waiting to join a Buddhist monastery, an idea which has been fed to her all her life by her father (Mohan Agashe) and one which she has never questioned. When Lama Norbu, a senior lama from the monastery has a dream that the Buddhist teacher, the Rinpoche has been reborn as a young child, he sends Kaya to Delhi on a mission to bring him back to the monastery.
