Venniradai Nirmala

The film details the life of Periyar right from a childhood to his marriage to Nagammal to his pilgrimage to Kashi which changed his life where he understands the cruelty of the Hindu Caste System that only Brahmins are welcomed and he was refused meals at choultries which exclusively fed Brahmins forbidding other Hindu castes. Having starved severely, Periyar found no other better way than to enter a choultry disguises himself with the appearance of a Brahmin wearing a thread on his bare chest but it is found out and is disgusted with life in Kashi. Periyar returns and joins his father's business and later becomes the Chairman of the Erode Municipality. Later, which he resigns from this post and joins the freedom struggle. He becomes the President of Congress party of Madras Presidency. Later he quits the Congress party and joins the Justice Party.

Shankar Dada (Chiranjeevi) is a local goon with a good heart who defends his extortion and settlement business as social service to maintain peace in society. But he pretends to be a doctor to his parents to make them contended about their son's achievement. One fine day, Dr. Rama Lingeswara Rao (Paresh Rawal) - dean of the biggest medical college in Hyderabad - exposes the real identity Shankar Dada to his parents. Gravely disappointed, Shanakr Dada's parents vow not to visit their son's place and leave him. An emotionally wrecked Shankar Dada decides to become doctor in real to teach a lesson to Dr. Lingam and his beautiful daughter Sunita (Sonali Bendre) and at the same time to prove to his parents that their son is a doctor, in deed!

Swapna is a NRI who has come to India for a visit along with her grandfather. Kameshwar rao is on a pilgrimage to Kaasi on the request of his grandmother as he had completed graduation successfully. Kamesh sees Swapna at a railway station and falls in love with her at the first sight. Swapna along with her grandfather leave for their relative's place in a hurry without giving a chance for Swapna to inform Rahul, but somehow Swapna places a note in Rahul's wallet before leaving. Her father comes in between for the engagement and stops it as the relatives had actually cheated them on business due to which Swapna's uncle succumbs to a cardiac arrest. After one year Kamesh is in hunt for his love, so he decides to go to the USA. The story unfolds in such a way that he goes to the US and is working under Deepak, who is Swapna's cousin. The climax anyway sees Kamesh meeting his love and winning it. And so the film ends with a happy note.

He stole the bribe from his father and put it in a Hundi. To punish him, Perumal sent his innocent son to jail.

A young man Raghu sets up an explosive in a railway track to blow up a train. Raghu is a freedom fighter who wants to destroy the train in which British officers are travelling. He returns home after his successful attempt and is slammed by his rich father who is an ardent supporter of the British. Raghu insists that his country and its freedom are more important than anything. When police comes to arrest Raghu, his father hands him to them but Raghu's pregnant wife Parvati diverts the police and lets her husband escape. Raghu escapes in his bike and meets with an accident and is declared dead. Parvati gives birth to a son named Ashok and ten years pass by. She is away from her father-in-law and still in a belief that her husband is alive and shall come to them one day.

On arriving, he is welcomed by Jayalalaitha's parents who are very much distressed with their daughter's condition. Srikanth questions them about her past but they conceal initially as it might have a severe consequence on her future. Upon reiteration that knowing her past will be very useful for him to cure her, Jayalalitha parents reveal her awful past. Jayalalitha at a very young age got married and within hours, the couple meet with an accident and her spouse dies.
