Nicknamed as "Hitler", Jailer Siddhanth Kumar Sharma is feared and respected at work as well as at home where he lives with his wife, a former lawyer, Sheila; younger brother, Amar; two younger sisters and his son. Siddhant disbelieves him, but Sheila decides to don her black gown and represent her brother-in-law, against the overwhelming evidence that has surfaced against him. It is now up to Sheila to not only defend Amar but also attempt to find out the reason behind Daulatram's death.
Major Jasbir Singh Rana (Amitabh Bachchan) trains cadets to become officers in the national defence academy. A spoilt brat Virendra Pratap Singh (Ajay Devgan) joins the academy. Little does he know the major is a strict disciplinarian who takes a row to straighten him and make him a soldier. Thus starts a war between the two. In the meantime Virendra falls in love with a beautiful girl NISHA (Sonali Bendre) whose marriage was fixed by his father to a wealthy contractor's son. Ram (Mithun Chakraborty) and Sapna Saxena (Shilpa Shirodkar) are in love. Sapna's brother Ranjit Saxena (Shakti Kapoor) is considered as best businessman of India. Will Shayam and Divya face the same consequences as Ram and Sapna or Ram will succeed to get his brother's love that is film's climax.
Diwan's family gathers at his home when they hear he may pass away soon. But Dinanath disappoints them, as he not only appears hale and hearty, though confined in a wheelchair, but has a young and gorgeous nurse at his side, who he plans to marry soon. Meanwhile Siddhant meets with a blind cabaret dancer, Pooja and both get married. Unknown to Siddhant that his very own brother, Nandu is involved in the flesh trading business and is responsible for Pooja losing her sight.

Before dying, Babloo donates his eyes to Karan. Karan vows that he will not remove his goggles till he confronts Dilawar Singh.
