Twice Upon a Time is a fairy tale for all generations about a king with split personality, split time and a split screen. It is a story about dual nature of kings and things and how playing cards came to be. One half of the King represents a barbaric King, a crude but fearless warrior. The other half of his is a King-poet, a man of graceful poise and manners. They share their conscience, but have opposing wishes and desperately want to get rid of each other.
Follows a man who, after 40 years, comes back to his hometown. There he has nobody. His friends from America are coming after him to get him back and small village in Vojvodina becomes lively as never before.
Nika is a spoiled 9-year-old princess of a paper kingdom who thinks the world is spinning around her. Many years after her mother’s death Nika is still trying to win attention of her always absent father - Poet King. She lies about Dragon appearance, fakes her own kidnapping and ends up being actually kidnapped only to realise that her father’s absence and neglecting is due to his rivalry with his split personality - Warrior King. Nika now has to save herself, save her kingdom and help her father overcome his inner conflict.
Spasoje and Cole are cute and silly boys who constantly find themselves in risky situations. They work in a morgue. One night they heard mobile phone that rings in your pocket just dead guy.
