The film "There will be no other us" was born as a direct continuation of numerous meetings and conversations with Sergey Bodrov Jr. and Alexey Balabanov. The idea to rethink the phenomenon of the personality of Sergei Bodrov Jr. belongs to Evgeny Nikishov and Valery Fedorovich. Together we decided to go on this difficult journey. The idea is that the phenomenon of Soviet rock music is as extensive and complicated as the structure of the book. The main characters of the film are members of the group "Nastya" Nastya Poleva and Yegor Belkin. The half-hour half-documentary tape included footage taken by Balabanov in 1985-1990. In addition to the main characters, the documentary footage captured many prominent figures of Sverdlovsk rock club, in particular Vyacheslav Butusov, Leonid Porokhnyu, and local actors.
