An ex-detective, Kagawa, is found dead in a park in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Meanwhile, Sono (Masanobu Takashima), at the public security bureau, orders his subordinate Shimizu (Taizo Harada), to uncover the truth behind the case in secret. Sono believes the maintenance of trust held by the general public for the police could be jeopardized if anything afoul is discovered in the case stemming from the police. Sono wants to coverup the case as unsolved if the police are involved.

Kyoko Mochizuki is an 18-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a police dog trainer. She is admitted to a police dog training school and meets a young Kinako, a Labrador retriever puppy. An instructor there informs Kyoko that Kinako is too weak to become a police dog, but Kyoko is determined that she will make Kinako into one.

Zettai Reido is a Japanese police procedural television drama. The first season, subtitled Mikaiketsu Jiken Tokumei Sōsa, was set in a fictional version of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department division that specializes in investigating cold cases, which is based on an actual division established in Japan in 2009. The first season aired from April 13 to June 22, 2010 on Fuji TV's Kakku time-slot. It premiered to a 18% rating. A special two-hour long episode which served as conclusion to the first series was aired on July 8, 2011. Season two of Zettai Reido, subtitled Tokushu Hanzai Sennyū Sōsa takes place a year after the events of the special episode, after Sakuragi and her fellow detectives have been transferred to the undercover investigation division which deals with current crimes. The second season aired from July 12 to September 20, 2011 on Fuji TV's Kakku time-slot. It premiered to a 15.4% rating and ended with a season-high rating of 16.3%. The last leg of the second season featured guest star appearances by Yūsuke Santamaria and You Yokoyama.

Pandora's box released all the evils as soon as it was opened. What is it that is ultimately left inside?

Takamura Itsuki is the ace lawyer of a major law firm. One day, she is assigned on a case requested by a school board, and learns of the existence of "monster parents." She meets a parent who wants the school to fire a teacher with a dialect for fear that he may exert bad influence on her child, a parent who insists that her son get a regular position on the soccer team, a parent who refuses to pay the lunch fee because it doesn’t taste good and so on. She is, at first, reluctant about this case, but gradually becomes determined to solve the problems.
