The Life of Despised Matsuko
Matsuko, in her 20s, is fired as a teacher and degenerates from an elite to a “Soap Lady.” Through her history of affairs with men, she kills her pimp and ends up in prison. Despite her rough lifex struck by terrible misfortunes, she does not stop loving some one and keeps her dreams until the very end. This drama depicts Matsuko’s stormy life as she deals with it head-on.

This is the dramatized version of the Naoki Award-winning novel by author, Kei Yuikawa. Moe Hayasaka is an office worker in an import service company who cannot devote herself in romance. On the other hand, Moe’s close friend, Ruriko Murono, who snatches Moe’s boy friend away to marry him for her third time, is interested in nothing but romantic affairs. Through their love and friendship, this drama portrays women in their 30s being rocked by marriage, divorce, infidelity, and work.
39-year-old Nagasato Daisuke is a bachelor who works for a stationery manufacturer. Although he is attuned to trends and interacts with other people flawlessly, he hates being hurt by love. Daisuke is not disatissified with living alone. On the day he moves to his new apartment, he meets his neighbour Hanako for the first time due to an unpleasant situation. 32-year-old Kumagai Hanako is a divorced office lady.
