Dara Ó Briain: School of Hard Sums is a British comedy game show about the subject of mathematics and it is based on the Japanese show Comaneci University Mathematics. The programme is broadcast on Dave and is presented by Dara Ó Briain and starred Marcus du Sautoy. Each episode was themed and Ó Briain, along with a guest or guests, attempted to solve various conundrums set by du Sautoy. At the end of each episode, Ó Briain sets homework questions for viewers; the answers can be checked on the show's website.

Inspired by The Manchester Passion, Liverpool Nativity employs the city's great musical heritage as the soundtrack to a contemporary music drama set in a fictitious state, a tale as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago. The live event tells the intimate personal story of a pregnant young girl set against a backdrop of political tension and unrest and stars a host of well- known Liverpool actors and personalities.

Boom-a-Bang: 50 Years of Eurovision is an one hour documentary that aired on BBC One on 16 May 2006. The programme celebrates 50 years of the Eurovision Song Contest and was presented and narrated by long serving Eurovision commentator Terry Wogan including a guest appearance from the UK representative for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, Daz Sampson, as well as archive footage from previous UK and other entries.

Madonna released the song "Hey You" for the Live Earth series of concerts. The song was available as a free download during its first week of release. She also performed "Ray of Light", "La Isla Bonita" (with Eugene Hütz and Sergey Ryabtsev of Gogol Bordello) and "Hung Up" at the London Live Earth concert too.

On February 26 2016, Eagle Rock Entertainment released A Life In Song - a concert film celebrating the life and career of Burt Bacharach, featuring performances by Joss Stone, Justin Hayward, Alfie Boe, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Shaun Escoffery, Rebecca Ferguson, Michael Kiwanuka, and Laura Mvula. This recording was produced and recorded by BBC Events Production. Filmed at London's Royal Festival Hall in 2015, A Life In Song presents on-stage conversations between Burt Bacharach and Michael Grade traversing different aspects of his years in music, interspersed with performances of many of his best loved songs by a diverse cast of artists. The evening culminates in a medley of some of Bacharach's most famous film songs performed by the man himself and his band, and a performance of "That's What Friends Are For" featuring the entire evening's cast.
