Marianne has mysteriously disappeared from her home in a village called L’Orée du Bois. Her husband, a photographer, and her daughter Clara wait for her to come back. Unwilling to abandon hope of seeing her again, they go for walks and recall their shared memories of her. The cloudy sky casts shadows over the landscape. A few kilometres away, in a small town, Simon, a young man in his twenties, starts having trouble with his sight, feeling his eyes momentarily covered by a black cloud, plunging him into total darkness.

Six years ago, Yoshido directed La Vie lointaine, the adaptation of the eponymous novel of Haruki. Two days before the end of the shooting, a sudden and strange rise of fever struck the members of the crew causing the film to stop. Today, Yoshido is an old and weakened man. When he leaves the hospital, he knows he only has little time to live. During the night, after a few glasses of saké, he decides to resume the shooting of his unfinished film.

Ulysses, a secluded artist who mysteriously retired a few years ago, meets Mona, a young art student full of life. The encounter will change them both.

Sébastien Betbeder and his actors Thomas Blanchard and Thomas Scimeca gather to imagine the script for the the film they will shoot in a year's time at Kullorsuaq in Groenland - a sequel to Inupiluk.

Thomas and Thomas are going through a rough patch: they are both thirty-something actors living in Paris. They randomly decide to leave the city and fly away to Kullorsuaq, one of the most remote villages of Greenland, where Thomas' father Nathan lives. Among the Inuit community, they will discover the charms of the local customs and their friendship will be challenged.

After meeting at a party, two young Parisians, Theodore and Anna, spend the night together in the city’s Parc des Buttes Chaumont. They return the next night, and the night after that, waiting for the park to empty of its daytime visitors so they can explore its familiar landmarks in solitude.

It is a mild winter and Martin has just settled into the isolated house that was his father's. One night, at the edge of the woods, a strange man called Haruki appears before him. He invites Martin to lose himself in the forest in order to encounter a stranger. The stranger comes in the form of Yoshido, a peculiar Japanese filmmaker, who, assisted by Mathilde, is preparing to shoot a film based on Haruki's unfinished novel La Vie lointaine.

At 33, Arman has decided to change his life. He starts by running. It’s a good start. Amélie carries on with her life. She runs, as well. The first encounter is a shock. The second is a stab in the heart.

Thomas has followed Rebecca to Amiens, but shortly after his arrival, she leaves him. Alone in the city of the French president, Emmanuel Macron, with a journalist job at Le Courrier Picard which bores him to death, Thomas tries to get over his depression. Right at this time, he is offered the task of writing a profile piece on Usé, a major local figure, an atypical musician and former candidate at the municipal elections. While cross-crossing the city and exploring Usé's life, and while revelling in a drunken night together, the two men will learn to get to know each other.
