A few summer days in the life of Madrilean photographer who is not doing so well lately. He is house-sitting for someone who is out of the country and decides to pass himself off as the owner of the house as a way to seduce female tourists.
Cristina is a young literature student who works at night in a bar, Rosa is a brilliant executive in his thirties, and Anna is married and has one son. All three are sisters, and every one thinks her life is worthwhile and that their sisters have taken the wrong way. But it is time to recognize their dissatisfaction, and perhaps they are needed more than they are willing to admit ...
Lola's boyfriend asks her if she believes in forgiveness, hands her a card with a name on it and shoots himself in the head. This sends Lola on a quest to find out what happened as well as solve the murder of her parents. The name on the card leads her into the shadowy world of the the Chinese Triad in Spain. She is helped along the way by a fearful young man who has an odd fascination for news clippings about the Chinese. She is drawn into this world and discovers her answer and loses more than she imagined.
