A biennial charitable telethon bringing together all the networks and the biggest stars in entertainment, for one night of music, laughter, and inspiration. The aim is to raise significant funds for translational cancer research, raise awareness, and bring about an understanding that everyone is connected to cancer.

This production consists an abbreviated script and highlights most musical numbers from the 1939 film.

Some of the selections include "Live Alone and Like It," "Teach Me Tonight," "There Is a Time," "Quiet Love," "Imagine," and "Theme From New York, New York" (Martin Scorsese's musical, which she starred in with Robert DeNiro.

The HBO Comedy Hour show, taped at The Comedy Connection in Boston, MA, was nominated for an Emmy (Outstanding Individual Performance In A Variety Or Music Program - 1995)

This concert DVD captures the 2002 VH1 Divas Las Vegas performance at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, the celebrity lineup includes Cher, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, the Dixie Chicks, and Shakira. Special guest musicians such as Anastacia, Stevie Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, and Whitney Houston joined in for some of the performances. The show opened with a cover of AC/DC's &"You Shook Me All Night Long," and one memorable moment featured Cher in drag as Elvis Presley. This was the fifth VH1 Divas musical event held to benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, which provides support for music education in public schools.

The American Film Institute (AFI) presents its 35th Life Achievement Award to Al Pacino.

The singer is joined by Barry Manilow, gospel singer Yolanda Adams and “Will & Grace” star Megan Mullally. Songs include “Mary, Did You Know?” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” (Aiken); a “Happy Holidays/White Christmas” medley (Manilow); “O Holy Night” Adams); and “I'll Be Home for Christmas” (Mullally). Also: Aiken is joined by Adams and Manilow for “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”

A panel of experts examines the five main suspects in the Jack the Ripper murders and determines which of them is the most likely to have committed the crimes.
